Looks like I might be able to run this then, Time to look for ROMs.
Wonder if any one has dumped Jambo! Safari yet. I spent so much money playing that game every time I saw it. The Logitech Driving Force Pro is such the perfect wheel to play that game through emulation without buying the whole cabinet. Itâs too bad that the way to get the game is buying the whole cabinet.
its cool that its being emulated and such but why are we so concerned? I mean i understand ggxx but we already have all this shit for nullDC online play. why are people complaining about marvel vs capcom 2? dreamcast emulators? a dreamcast it self? try thinking.
dunno. maybe they want to play online with a stable emulator?
perhaps on something with a good netcode?
just taking a guess.
I know one it gets emulated Ponder will add them to GGPO.

any ideas on how to run this emulator with 3DAnalyze (because my laptop has the crappy intel chipset video card)? i can run nullDC just fine with 3DAnalyze, but when i try it with demul, all i get is a black screen.
[offtopic] Man, what is 3DAnalyze? [/offtopic]
Getting between 90 and 120 fps in GGXX#R without frame limiter. Lots of graphics and sound issues.
Specs? Also, what are the fps we are supposed to be getting? Around 60 fps right?
-Tha Hindu
3.4D, 2GB RAM, 6800XT; Putting on frame limiter gives you the correct speed (60fps).
got the same thing as fallot
70-100 fps in GGXX & Reload on a dated P4 3.0 GHz, 512 MB RAM, GF6600 GT
with framelimiter the game is perfectâŚ
CVS1 & CVS2 have unoptimized 3D scenes, thatâs why theyâre so slow.
so everyone running the games in NullDC fine, they should run Naomi games fine as well (after all Naomi is a Dreamcast with a little more RAM).
I could get 50-60 FPS off of #R with my laptop, with itâs pentium centrino 1.5ghz prcessor, gig and a half of ram and an nvidia Geforce FX Go5200 with 32 megs on onboard memory.
⌠Iâm⌠pretty surprised. Doesnât take much of a system to run it at all. when the emulator advances and I have more video options to play with Iâm sure I can get it running at a smooth 60.
Good to know, I guess I should be able to run it just fine on my laptop as well. One thing though, I have a bunch of Naomi roms now and put them in the roms folder but when I try and open a game it says, "Unable to open " ". Were there any bios or anything I need. Mind you I just dl the roms and emu and tried to open the files. Any help would be great.

now, call me crazy, but here me out.
GDROM security chip (after reading the article, I have a hard time calling it that, but hey) is keyed for a particular GDROM. Command/response has been logged and briefly mentioned, and a number of security keys have been found and distributed; ergo, GGXX#R and CvS2.
If GDROM drives can read the same multisession discs like the DC can, doesnât that mean that Naomi GDROM piracy just became a reality? Either by rebuilding discs to a universal key, or by having a selectable key code chip?
According to many forums GD Rom piracy has been around for many a year. They have dumped the GD rom discs and just erased the part for the disc to check for the security chip. First place I heard of this was over at n-g forums. Over seas they sell the games for around $20 - $50. I know itâs a little pricey for a pirated game but the original is pricey itself. Funny though, I have never seen a pirated Naomi GD game itself though. I also believe that Naomi 2s can only read GD roms and not cds (like later Dreamcast versions).

Whatâs the difference between the dumped GD rom discs and the ripped CDIâs from dreamcast games?
doesnât seem like there would be much difference at all.
so the only reason people want naomi emulated is so they can play it on GGPO, 2df, etcâŚ? Because canât you play CvS2, GGXX, etc⌠on Demul and other DC emus already? Am I missing something here?
Yeah, the competition. Thatâs why we want it on ggpo.
Basically, ppl just want good netplay for these games. Iâm sure noone cares whether itâs mame+, 2df, ggpo, some unreadable ruski shit, whatever the fuck.
