Trying to create the lst file for CvS1. I go into CMD and type “gdrom2rom snkvscap.bin 125829120 test test” and hit enter, and get the message “cannot find iso header.” The size of the file is 125829120 bytes, and I’ve tried replacing those numbers with “0x0000000, 0x07800000” and “7800000” and nothing works… am I typing it wrong or do I need another .bin file?

Yeah… the gdrom2rom that you have does not support regular games under 1gb. There is another one that is not released that I have tested and used (same one Gamecop has) that does work for it. Don’t worry, it will be released soon.

edit: I would be getting the PCIe version so it would be the X550 chipset.

cvs2 runs 100% and I dont think there are any “missing frames” issues here either. I didnt get my joystick working but when I do I will try some random combos/CCs and I am sure they will work fine :woot:

Joy2key is supposedly the best right now. Don’t worry, he’ll be releasing a new version by the first of next month with configurable keys and joypad support as well.

Demul 0.4.7 has been released…NAOMI still hasn’t been optimized to handle 3D objects so the low framerate is still there, unless my computer is seriously acting up, but I highly doubt that.

If anyone is curious to what I’m running, I’m running windows xp with a 7800 gtx on a amd athlon 3200+ with 2 gigs of ram. I get 60 fps with cvs2 haven’t tried anything else.

Also, SFZ3U is now RUNNING!!! (I think)…

Also, there’s a new Demul v0.4.7 but there is almost no difference between it and v0.4.6. Everything still runs pretty eh with crappy graphics.

5 = Coin

I believe F1 and F2 are Service and Test as well.

Demul 0.4.7 runs fullspeed with no graphical glitches for GGXX, #R, SFZ3 Upper
you just need to pick the gpuOgl video plugin and check List Sorting in its options

pros:

gamepad support and customizable controls for all players
sound doesn’t drop or craps so much like in NullDC Naomi
roms don’t need to be extracted from GDI images and are easier to find

cons:

it has a nasty memory leak with virtual memory/pagefile for computers with low RAM (512 MB)…
you have to close every RAM consuming app or you’ll get corrupted graphics after a while
SFZ3 Upper has an input problem (it acts really weird when moving on the ground)

some of these things may be specific to my system (like the memory leak).

u know…I take the stuff back about it not being able to run on GGPO at full speed for a while comment. I got cvs2 to run at full speed without taking 100% cpu on my crap pc.
