It’s kind of funny, in all honesty, I’ve really struggled with relationships. Most women are only interested in me sexually. And quite a few have told me it’s better for me that way and they don’t want to hurt me. For awhile it did bother me in terms of self worth. Like what is wrong with me that girls only want to have sex with me and not a relationship? I’m not the guy these women introduce to their parents, or go out on dates with in public. It’s not even dating. His culture/religion/etc trapped him in an isolated reality. Marrying the person she pretended to be did not violate the rules of his reality. Now his reality was shattered and virginity taken. He can no longer have the virgin fairy tale wedding. His only choice within the confinement of his own reality is to remain with her. If he divorces her, his life is basically destroyed.
