So I just saw the first 2 episodes and I liked what I saw. I was a big fan of X-Men Evolution and it seems as though Wolvie and Friends are along those same lines. I just hope that, like X-Men Evo, that it becomes much darker in later seasons.
Just started watching, damn didn’t know that this had come out anywhere before America. I dl everything up to ep 15 cause this is pure awesomeness. I paused during ep 3 just to see what the consensus of everyone else was about the show. Seems to be doing well and I love it so far.
I generally enjoy the show, the character anatomy is kinda wonky on some characters. Most of them are pretty good. My thoughts about the show are:
Nightcrawler is pretty badass.
They have mutants in the wrong time periods.
Voice acting is pretty good.
I think it’s suppose to be based or headed toward Age of Apocalypse. I could be completely wrong, going spend more time today reading this thread.
That’s true, except she also died in that story arc . If they plan on turning it into an alternative universe to the AoA universe, her appearance is premature.
What I think is this series isn’t tied to anything and is a brand new creation like the Ultimate series was and just borrowing from everything. Even though character continuity bugs me a little, it’s not going stop me from enjoying the show.
As long as they don’t say Wolverine is Cyke’s father or something random like that, changing stuff is fine by me. Marrow isn’t a key part in their story. Having her in the future doesn’t make a difference to what they’re focusing on.
You’re just more die hard than I am. I would be too if I knew more about the comics like you do. Since I don’t, and I choose not to, I’m fine with the discontinuity.
