I rarely play any more. Mostly retired. I play because the feeling of a head to head competition is thrilling. Simply pitting me against someone else is a really primal itch that Street Fighter is able to scratch while being completely nonviolent or having any implications on real life.

Even when we went to other cities, everyone was always hospitable because we all knew it was about the game. Sure it gets personal and the shit talk starts to flow…but that’s all part of street fighter. It’s a nostalgic thought that when arcades were around, you were standing next to your opponent, so you were right there in their face talking smack. The problem with this generation of players is they’re safely in their own house all the time. It makes the talk much more volatile because there is a sense of safety.
I’ll give you an example:
Would you ever call this Joe guy a “bum/loser/troll/hillbilly midget who thinks he is a big shot” to his face? Or anyone else for that matter.

That’s pretty far from Tecumseh and Rivard. About a 15-20 minute car ride. Gas is not cheap guys and you know it. Maybe once or twice but not all the time. Did he ever ride a bus before? He can’t even come to my place without asking for a ride. He loves to make excuses when he doesn’t have a ride or even any money to go people places. He knows when he can’t leech off of anyone, he resorts to calling them stingy and cheap. He should look at himself. It’s only 10 MINUTES away!! Holy fuck man. I can even do that if I want to. Cyrus if I can be serious about this but I am actually changing my life. People make mistakes in the past and I’m owning up to them. I’m still young and still can find a good job. I still have plenty of time left and I’m going to use it wisely. I’m already enrolled in college full time starting in January and maybe attending University in the fall of 2013 on a 2 year degree program in Nursing, still working part time and starting to work out at the gym losing my weight and getting some confidence in myself. I’ll be getting a girlfriend much prettier than Ray can ever get. He knows that to be true. You are right. My parents smother me all the time. It gets annoying and over protecting. I’m actually getting sick and tired of it myself. I’m moving out on my own around 2014-2015. Me and my brother always talk about it. I’m already making plans next year. Whether it will be sooner than later, I’m actually doing something about it instead of nothing. My credit is clear and I am actually saving money for a new car next year. Win/Win for me so far. 2013 is going to be great.

I’ve finally said my peace. I’m out and done with Windsor. These guys can play among themselves and make a name for themselves in Windsor which nobody will ever care in reality. Only these guys.
