I’m glad you gave up the old Garen Avatar though…he is now shit tier
Funny thing is that he was considered shit tier when he was originally introduced and I was one of the first proponents of him. I felt like no one else was playing him right, and then the only changes he received for like the next 4 patches were nerfs (except gaining the ability to use other skills while spinning) and suddenly he was god tier…o_O. I haven’t played the game nearly enough lately to be able to comment on how good or bad any character is now though, but my main has always been Kassadin anyway. Garen was just my go-to if I was playing with randoms and we had too many spellcasters already, since Garen could fill tank and dps roles to fill any gaps in team composition. Also I still love hearing DEMACIAAAA!!!
I should play that game again sometime… then again I should also play Starcraft again some time, and SSFIV, and TvC, and MvC2, and VS, and Melee…and then there’s all those single-player games on the back-burner XD…started playing Epic Mickey, Prototype, War For Cybertron, Muramasa, Resonance of Fate, Pokemon Black, Castlevania Lords of Shadow, and Arkham Asylum all within the last year or so and not even half-way through any of them…I feel so incomplete =(

The question to this mystery is…Why?
You realize I would have to drive to Windsor to pick everyone up, then after the tourney drive to Windsor again and backtrack an hour back to Chatham to get home? I’ve done this once before when I went to Hamilton with Joe, but staying at Darren’s the night before made that a little more bearable and I was still tired as fuck when I got home. Anyway, on July 9th Sauga is hosting a big tournament with a bunch of games - MvC3, SSFIVAE, MK9, Tekken6, Melee, Brawl (wtf no BBCS2) - and if I’m only going to one tourney it’s going to be that one.
I want to go to the Waterloo tourney, but I really need a job. I’m in a lot of debt (3 years of college, no job except for summer), and I pretty much have $700 to last me until I get a paycheck, and that has to cover internet/phone/monthly loan payments.

The scene is not dead. They are still really good Street Fighter players in Windsor and we all have something to contribute. Windsor Street Fighting scene will still live on no matter what anybody says.
It’s not that the scene is dead or anything. It’s more or less, the scene is somewhat lazy or doesn’t want to deal with people.
Says someone who’s not a part of it and hasn’t come out yet ;).

Even if the scene is “alive,” there’s only like five active players. On top of that, of those five, they’re all split between different games and/or are ass at some of them but don’t put in the work to improve.
