I never met the guy, but from reading all your posts he seemed like an awesome cat. Hey bro, from us here in ATL/Digital Dojo and TEAM EMS our condolences goes out to the family and take it easy on god when you get there. Show him how to pull off some of the street fighter combos, and try not to bore jesus and his desciples about the great battles you’ve seen at all the EVO’s you’ve been to.

Haven’t checked SRK in a few days. Just reading the news now. Total shock. Oh man, I’m really going to miss him.
I still remember the first time I met Will. I walked into CF on a random day. I noticed this guy I’ve never seen is wrecking shop on A3. I didn’t play him that day but my friend introduced me to him before I left. Really cool guy.
Fast forward to ECC that year. I was watching Will doing well in casual play and just thinking to myself, “If I have to face this guy. What am I going to do?” Sure enough, I have to fight him. He peaced me out, but I felt I had a small victory for the fact he didn’t land V-Gief’s super leaping chabboti cancel custom on me. Whatever. :rolleyes:
I know this has been said already but this man was an icon. You always felt good when Will was around, even when he was talking shit. That’s how great he was. My heart goes out to his close friends and family. If anything is done to help support his son, I’m more than willing to help out.

Man, I have way too many memorable images playing against Will in A2, A3, CVS1/2 at several NEC/ECC tournaments and casual play at CF. His form of trash talk and skill was unquestionably unique and refreshing; a very strong-willed, confident player. I remember the first time I met him with James Paige (better known as B-Chun) – an admirable duo I consider to be omnipresent and very entertaining.

I just wish I could have spent more time with him. He wasn’t just
a gamer he was a really good friend of mine and everyone else he
graced with his presence. It’s just hard to let him go

I seen him at a bunch of tourneys at the break but i never talked to him… but i do remember him hitting a lot of people with lkXXsnapback with Sent right in the beginning of matches and it always cracked me up.

Asking “how he KILLED himself” is a bit outta line in my opinion, I don’t think anyone here would feel comfortable talking about the way he ended his life publicly nor is there a real need for people to know. Finding out how he took his life would only quench your curiosity at the emotional expense of those to whom he was dear.
It’s hard to understand how such a young and lively person would want to depart from this world in such a premature and untimely manner but sometime the burden that one bears can be overwhelming.
Had he elected to share his burden with others maybe this tragedy would have been prevented. Our paths have never intertwined but i’ve always enjoyed watching his mvc2 matches and judging by all the pleasant things people have said about him he must have had a sparkling personality. Lets pray he’s playing MVC3 right now.
