Lost in Shadow - Materialization Trailer

This game looks pretty damn good. But they show you all this good stuff then hit you with that date at the end. :wasted:

Edit:

I also finished up NMH2 last night finally. Enjoyed the game but the ending felt sort of anticlimatic a bit to me for some reason the way how it ended though made it seem like it made it open for a sequal so I’m hoping NMH3 will be a launch title for Nintendo’s next home console system.

how is the gameplay for Arc Rise Fantasia (doesn’t matter to me if the VA it all comes down to gameplay) and I know this game is hella old but how is Castlevania Judgement?

Castlevania Judgement can be fun but it does have some flaws going on in it. I’m pretty sure it’s relatively cheap now though. I’m pretty sure you’ve seen that plays sorta like powerstone but I find powerstone to be a lot better imo. I twas a nice distraction when it first came out while waiting for other things. My favorite character to play in that game was Aeon mostly because he looked like L from Death Note, nearly [media=youtube]ykXoJb78QV4&feature=related"]every other word that came out of his mouth had to do with time, he has a kamehameclock, and has a near guaranteed way of landing his super. It’d have been kinda cool if they had made enough money on it to make a follow up and expand on some things to make it better but I doubt that’s gonna happen. I think my personal favorite is the curbstomp followed by a heaping helping of plasma to the back of the head.

GT did a pop up video of the japanese trailerand decided to display that in high quality but everything else not really. eh…

The wait…is going to be a loooooooong month.

kind of happy about that LIS date. There are many games I want to get from August on out.

Just sat down and completed Silent Hill: Shattered Memories in one sitting. It’s not really a game. It’s more like an interactive movie. There’s zero combat and the puzzles are all very simple and straightforward, but the great pacing of the story and rich atmosphere all propel you along very nicely.

Have to say, really great game, highly atmospheric and deeply tragic. It’s quite short, I finished it in around 5 hours I think, but every part of the experience was just great. I haven’t played a game quite like it and even though it’s got it’s flaws, it’s definitely a worthwhile experience.

As I said, the storyline is very melancholy and the ending even more so. I damn near welled up.

Side note: DAMN @ the visuals. At times it looked PS3/360 multiplat level. Why can’t more Wii games respect their visuals like this?

Shattered Memories also has several different endings depending upon your actions and answers to questions IIRC.

Wii Party Reclaims the Top Spot in Japan - Wii News at IGN

Wii Party grabbed the top spot last week. SMG2 still hanging on at the 8th spot and that dragon Quest card arcade port game is hanging out around the middle of the pack. I’m wondering if that PSP title that’s in second has anything to do with the Fate/Stay series.

Hardware went PSP, DSi LL, Wii, PS3, DSi, 360, Lite, PS2, Go

This report combined with a report from earlier is basically saying that MH3 sold better than expected but it’s not selling enough. Sucks that Ghost Trick hasn’t sold that well considering that’s the same team that does the Phoenix Wright games.

Dragon’s Lair Trilogy is coming

Holy shit, Dragon’s Lair. SWEET.

Yeah I know, planning to play it again soon actually. I’m just saying the ending that I got hit me hard. I’m generally a pretty bad assed dude but I also love my parents, so that explains why I got tore up.

Yeah, Fragile (another good Wii game, BTW) made me get something in my eye several times, so don’t feel bad.

I don’t know why they’re bitching. They sold close to a mil with MH3, which is quite impressive for a series that previously sold meagerly in America. They can’t expect lol Japan numbers because Japan is retarded about MH like they are about DQ.

Gay lol.

You’re really making me debate buying the game Infini though I really shouldn’t since it’s curently outside of my budget.

It’s sorta official that NBA Jam is no longer Wii exclusive. I say sorta because the 360/PS3 guys are going to get an HD version of the game with PSN/XBL support. They have a catch though that they have to purchase NBA Elite and some of the game features have been scaled back. I don’t know whether I should remove NBA Jam from the exclusive list or not…I wanna see how gimped this version is in comparison to the Wii’s.

IGN Dive: The Medes Island Secret review

7.5 complaints of the game being pretty hard and getting stale after a certain point especially after you’ve upgraded all of your equipment.

IGN Podcast stuff:

There was a interview in famitsu with the team leader (Yosuke Haiyashi…SP?) from Team Ninja about Metroid: Other M and the 4 important things that were mentioned are:

  1. There will be just as many pickups as any Metroid game
  2. You’ll find 30% of the pickups in the first normal playthrough (not entirely sure what this could mean…could mean that they’ve hidden the items pretty well or maybe perhaps more stuff hidden in higher difficulties?)
  3. They’re really focusing on story and cutscenes. (So long as it doesn’t get to infamous MGS4 levels…) There will be a theator type mode where you can watch the cutscenes back to back and sections of gameplay that’s been prerendered between the actual cutscenes. Basically it’s possible to sit down and ‘watch’ Metroid: Other M as something like a movie. ( I actually kinda find this to be kinda cool…so long as it’s only available after the end)
  4. They’ve worked on the loading times and there will be ‘seamless’ saving. (don’t know if that means no more ‘thinking’ door or not)

GT Arc Rise Fantasia review
Arc Rise Fantasia Video Game, Review | Game Trailers & Videos | GameTrailers.com

6.0 I was actually really waiting for GT’s review because I knew I was going get some laughs out of it. Wasn’t as funny as I was hoping but there were some parts that did make me lol.

I am having way more fun with Chop Till You Drop than I have any right to be.

That cut scene thing in other m is something I wish a lot of other games had kind of makes sense that they put it in since all there Ninja Gaiden games have it.

PS3, PSP Surge in Japan - Wii News at IGN

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes for the PS3 took over the charts over there. The Wii version made #5. One of Konami’s baseball games is still hanging onto the list and Fire Emblem for the DS is just hanging on at #10. A Kamen Rider card battle game for the DS showed up at 4. That Dragon Quest arcade card game port disappeared off this list rather quickly…surprisingly NSMB Wii or SMG2 are nowhere to be found on the list but Wii Party is hovering around #3. Also a Hatsune Miku game was apparently beast enough to net #2 as well as push PSP sales.

Hardware went PSP, PS3, DSi LL, Wii, DSi, 360, Lite, PS2, Go. Also of note Sony released a 320 gig model PS3 over there…is that much space really necessary?
