I was just doing combos on him, he fell through the ground, I thought he just would move around through the ground and pop up with an attack near me, bfore I know it the ending cutscene is playing

IGN Super Mario Galaxy 2 Hands-On Update:
2 new abilities revealed: Rock Mario and Lightbulb Yoshi. The way the hub is has changed as well and they have a map system a la Super Mario Bros. 3 now. There’s some other features about the game they want to talk about but they’ve been sworn into secrecy. I"m assuming the moment they decide to speak there offices will get rained on with bullet bills.

Yeah I was thinking that when I was looking at the screens. They have some time but if they can’t really improve much on the graphics then I’ll gladly substitute that with better and more awesome gameplay personally. They have a number of months to work on it and there’s always the possibility of it getting pushed back if they need more time for polish.

I am REALLY curious about what Retro’s working on. The one word that keeps coming to my mind is AMBITIOUS (yes, with all letters capitalized). I’d like to think it is AMBITIOUS in the area of Point and especially Motion (beyond Red Steel 2). I’d also like to think it is perhaps some Action Western RPG, perhaps Sci-Fi Horror. Bioware caliber scope, and a thrill of combat and other ideas that scream “Wii Potential Realized”. Sorry for not posting news here, but I REALLY hope we learn about what Retro has been working on at E3. And Sora too! 
Why are ya apologizing? You don’t HAVE to post news in here everytime you post. I’m getting pretty hype for E3 in general…I’m already on the hype train sitting in my seat and the damn thing has even left out of the station. Nintendo could possibily have the best E3 conference that they’ve had in a long ass time. I put that horrible Wii Music E3 conference as the 2nd worse conference in E3 history…1st still going to Sony’s 'RRRRRRRIIIIDDGE RRRRRRAAACERRRR! 599 US Dollars conference. I’m expecting them to focus more on their surprise announcements, Zelda, 3DS, and the vitality sensor. They’re going to have to get people’s attention off of Natal and Move this year so I feel they may try to put more effort into selling themselves. PLEEEASE…don’t have Cammie on stage failing for the third conference in a row.
There have been a lot of their main franchises that have been on hiatus for awhile that they could easily be releasing that would be sweet icing to their Big 3 cake this year. Lotta people been yelling for F-Zero…personally I don’t know why it hasn’t shown up yet. Then there is the Kid Icarus rumors. They haven’t done anything with their Starfox and Donkey Kong properties for a while. Pikmin 3 should have had a trailer/screenshot for it a year ago. God knows what the hellProject Sorais making. I’d be nice if next level was working on punch-out!!! 2 since they know now that there’s a demand for it. Everything is wishful thinking though…Nintendo can easily drop the ball hard.
Yeah I’m also crazy hyped for E3…Zelda Wii has the potential to be revolutionary, add in some surprises (Retro/Sora projects) and this year’s show could be epic for Nintendo. If LucasArts busts out a MotionPlus lightsaber game, I will literally explode.
You can really find some solid Wii games for dirt cheap nowadays… for $40 at Toys R Us, I just got both Dead Space Extraction and Little King’s Story. I’ve seen MadWorld for like $7 in some places.
^ MadWorld sku is actually still active. I keep checking on it every so often so Platinum is still making money off of it. It goes for 19.99 new right now.

Kenshiro ATATATATATATATATA’S his way to the top! In fact both versions of Hokuto Musou made top 10 over there. This is also the first time in awhile that a 360 title has been up on the charts. Actually half of the top 10 this week was on a sony system. NSMB Wii ain’t budging from the top 10…it’s still hovering up there along with Wii Fit Plus and the new pokemon game. Yakuza 4 also made no. 2.
PS3 sales seem to have taken a boost thanks to Kenshiro and his manliness. Even Kratos is being humbled! Hardware went: PS3, PSP, Wii, DSi LL, DSi, DS Lite, 360, GO, and PS2. Yes that’s right…Kenshiro is manliness was enough to nudge Go out of being last for once even if it he had nothing to do with it.

news on the Wii front has been pretty slow this week for the time being but I’m going to post some stuff up.
First off if you haven’t been in the Megman thread…you should know that the Megaman 10 DLC with Bass and the extra stages is up for DL. Second thing is that Sakura Wars has been out…I’ve only seen one copy come into my store. [Reviews that are out are currently mixed](http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/sakurawarssolongmylove?q=sakura wars) with so far IGN giving it the highest score of 9.0. I haven’t read it yet but I’m curious to see what other people who played it thought about it so far. Edit: Most impressions on the NeoGaf forums have been pretty positive

Capcom has been doing a loooooot of marketing for MH3. It’s gonna suck really bad if they’re doing all this and they don’t see the results of actually trying.
Finally got around to buying a Wii and I’ve just got 3 games to play ATM, but I’m pretty happy with what I got. I love Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy may very well be the greatest 3D platformer I’ve ever played. Since I came into the Wii 3 years later, it looks like I got a lot of catching up to do. I hear No More Heroes 1-2 are must play titles and if Galaxy 2 is on the same level as the first, I will crap bricks.
Is Zack & Wiki worth the money? Is it even still available?
I found NMH 1 and 2 to be quite repetitive for the most part. Also very short games. Zack and Wiki is definitely worth the money since it is dirt cheap right now. It wasn’t really my kind of game though and I traded it in as soon as I finished it.
My recommendation goes to Little King’s Story. I had so much fun playing that game. Long, challenging, all out goodness.
If you’ve never played Okami or Resident Evil 4 on the PS2/Gamecube, then give the Wii version a shot.
From what I’ve heard Zack and Wiki was completely unappreciated (not underrated). I didn’t buy it and I feel awful about it in hindsight. A lot of people enjoyed the game and I’m sure it’s worth the money now. I think your best bet for finding it would probably be looking for it online since they don’t make it new any longer (I see copies of the game every so often in my store…I need to add it to my collection at some point). Did you buy the Wii from GS to get the free Wii Sports Resort or did you buy it from somewhere else?
I just got a Wii about a month ago so I could get my hands on Mega Man 10 early (I also wanted to get a Wii) and man, I picked up HotD: Overkill for 15 at Gamestop, worth every cent. The language and overall presentation is just overall outrageous! lol I need to see if I can borrow my GF’s Mario Galaxy so I can play that.
I believe all of the hard work, from developing a game of high quality to advertising the crap out of it, is going to pay off.
But man… SSFIV and MH3? How will I manage to play both of these games at the same time?
