yes…you’re seeing correctly. This game is in fact coming over here. You know full well you’re probably gonna buy it and look like an ass. How the hell are you gonna play this game while not laughing?

Monster Hunter 3 - Big Changes Interview
basically talks about some changes between the japanese version and the version coming over here.
Lol @ Bozon mentioning about people giving him shit for his COD: MWR review
Some LOZ: Spirit Tracks talk…quite interesting stuff if you own a DS. Difficulty has been uped. The first hour of the game is kind of slow but afterwards it gets really interesting. Interesting note…apparently they’re having some problems blowing the flute as precisely as they wanted to with the OG Fat DS but no probs with the successors.
Matt’s been playing final copy of SH: Shattered Memories and he’s actually 60-70% through his second play through. His review will go up tomorrow and he says it’ll be good. From the way he sounded…it sounds like it’s 8ish material…probably 8.0-8.5 range is my guess.
Matt’s complaining a bit that Konami isn’t doing any sort of marketing for this game and people are going to feel like the game is crap. He’s practically in love with the flash light. Wow…Matt’s talking about this moment in the game that sounds intense as hell…I’m not gonna divulge on it cause it’d ruin it for people that play it. His gripes so far are that the game is a bit too short (around 5-6 1/2 hours) and the other being that you realize quickly that when there’s no ice that you’re not scared.
Dsi stuff…
Bozon goes into deep detail on why he felt the COD:MWR was a 7.0
I forgot Nintendo was going to give users a free game if they had previously bought the Opera browser, if you haven’t claimed your game you better do so soon…I think it expires at the end of this month.
Anyways, I got the OG Metroid and wow…brings back memories.
Speaking of Metroid…I’m starting to get really into Metroid Prime Trilogy. I only played the first 2 with my roomate so he often played some things when I wasnt there and I missed out on some things. Retro did an amazing job on this game and I can only hope they return to the franchise at some point later.
nice to see sunsoft back over here. Perhaps if they get enough sells on their VC stuff they may think about doing some WiiWare/PSN/Live titles.
systems went DSiLL, PS3, Wii, PSP, DSi, Lite, Go, 360, and PS2. uh…‘It Prints Money?’
9 out of the 10 top ten software titles are from Nintendo, with 4 of them being on the Wii. Prof Layton is at the top and then there’s repeat offenders of Pokemon Gold/Silver, Wii Fit Plus, Friend Collection, and Wii Sports Resort. The one game not Nintendo was Winning Eleven on the PS3. Expect LOZ to show up next week.
no it’s not the arcade version…It’s going to be the SNES version probably with the load times included. I’m pretty sure there’s a good number of people who won’t mind playing that version especially if they’re not well versed in why it’s BS or just fighting games in general. This was the version of the game I played back then before I was even aware of fighting game comp.
Nice to see that Ubisoft hasn’t completely forgotten about Rayman (DSi Ware)
NSMB Wii on Fire in Japan:
Fastest selling Wii title now…A title that used to belong to Smash Brawl.
November NPD Forecast predictions:
mostly expecting Wii and DS to dominate and the PS3 to beat out 360. Some also think that another round of price cuts are going to come aroudn but I find that highly unlikely since they just cut them.
Edit:
something I wasn’t aware of…Madcatz is apparently making a stick for the Wii for when Tatsunoku comes out
Something that I’ve been wanting to remember to mention but I keep forgetting and I can’t remember if I did or not.
If you reserved Silent Hill then you get a soundtrack. Of course you can easily dl it but for those that want the physical disk then that’d be the way to go. I don’t think anybody reserved the game at my store so that means we’ll probably be handing them out to the first couple of people who nab it.
I don’t get why folk keep hating on the N64 controller, it brought us the analog stick and force feed back, but folk just can’t get over that middle handle and its looks when they revisit it.
