8.5 from Matt. Complaints included 15 second load times, story doesn’t go anywhere, slight repetition and small camera issues because of a fixed camera. Otherwise game is fun and funny and controls quite well. Said the game is about 8 hours…that’s not including going back and perfecting everything.
IGN Band Hero Wii review:
8.3. It’s basically Guitar Hero 5 reskinned with more top 40 pop. So if you’re not hero’d out yet and want to interu…-er sing Taylor Swift then this probably isn’t the bad way to go.
Guys, Rabbids Go Home is garbage, if the demo I played at E3 (they gave us swag for playing it) is any indication. Imagine Katamari Damacy, but take away the charm and the fun. That’s what it is.
i thought I may have mentioned it earlier somewhere in this thread but IGN’s score was the only one out of any major reviews that gave it a decent score
I’m going to add a ‘beginner’s guide’ to the front with hopefully reccommendations on accessories and what not that people should get and probably add a top 5 list. Chime in with your thoughts and reccomendations.
nothing really ‘OMFG!’. He just basically says they’re trying to make it as though you’re actually holding a sword in your hand.
No Doubt Files Lawsuit Against Activision:
Again? A fucking gain? You’d think after the nirvana incident both parties would learn from that incident.
Fragile Set for 2010 with New Name:
‘Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon’
IGN RE: Darkside Chronicles Hands-on
still complaints on the camera
IGN Need for Speed: Nitro review
8.0 complaints were no online, not being able to map buttons (accelerate was mapped to R on the cube controller and you can’t change it), unreliable camera especially during nitro boosts, and no cockpit or bumper view. Other than that he said it’s a good start to a new series on wii and hopes most of the issues are addressed in a sequal.
video review:
Thanks for the input on the VGA cables AdverseSolutions. I’ll have to try to work on the front tomorrow since I got out of work late.
like what geese pants said i’d suggest looking at the first post.
you listed some games that aren’t even out yet though lol. As far the first 10 games I would personally suggest getting out of the ones in the front.
Super Mario Galaxy
No More Heroes ( especially to get prepared for the second one )
Twilight Princess ( Wii or GC version…seems so far that there’s a lean to the GC though)
*4. Smash Brawl
Mario Kart Wii
Metroid Prime Trilogy
MadWorld
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Punch-Out!!
Wii Sports Resort ( There’s a holiday limited edition with 2 wii motion pluses. If you’re planning at all in the future to get more than one than I suggest getting that)
*= If you hate smash with only the greatest passion that SRK can muster than it can probably be replaced with HOTD: Overkill, Little King’s Story, Boom Blox or it’s sequal, or if you can find the game…Zack & Wiki. That game could always use more love.
I don’t think that list is half bad…If there aren’t any objections to my choices I’ll probably put that in the current begginer’s area.
The small trickle of info from Zelda Wii apparently came from a Q&A session with Miyamoto and Iwata. There’s also mention about the wii vitality sensor. The Q&A is pretty lengthy.
Miyamoto also let loose that he recently has cats. I imagine that after the Q&A Iwata proceeded to give Miyamoto a stern backhand and tells him to go to his room.
Namco Teases New RPG:
all things at this moment point towards it being on the DS right now though
GTTV is on now on spike…there’s some new exclusive trailer that’s supposed to be shown. Don’t know if it’s for NSMB or Zelda Spirit Tracks or something else. If it’s something else I’ll edit this post.
nah…just a new trailer for spirit tracks.
Holy hell though…
Stan: OMG…THEY KILLED ZELDA!
Kyle: YOU BASTARDS!!!
