lol I dug the game myself and some others liked it as well. Granted one of the complaints on it is about it being simplistic so it can get repetitive. After spending good time with it though I wouldn’t call it a ‘lame-ass button masher’…especially when you have to beat the challenges that give you a suggested level to be at to be at you’ll realize that you can have your ass handed to you quickly if you’re not careful.
It definitely feels like mashing at first…how far into the game are you?

Pokemon got dethroned by Bayonetta (PS3) but it’s still in the top 10. There’s 2 games on the PS3 in the top 5 and 2 Wii games in the lower 5 (Wii Fit Plus and Super Robot Taisen Neo).
Stuff got shuffled a bit on the hardware front. Dsi is still at the top but numbers of Psp and Go combined did beat it out. Sony is just wedging in between the Wii and Dsi. Goes as follows: Dsi, PS3, PSP, PSP Go, Wii, Lite, 360, then PS2.
Forgot to mention that if you pre order Darkside Chronicles you get a t-shirt that you can flip up over your head to become a zombie…yay… Hey it’s a free t-shirt though.
ok, i’m copping a wii for christmas. wow @ mario rpg being downloadable…instant cop. yes i’ve beaten that game to death…many times. it never gets old. thx for all of your answers (and i don’t know why i didn’t check the first post in this thread; sorry).
I never played or even heard of Okami prior to the Wii release, so the lack of that subtle fuzz/blur never really bothered me. While the PS2 version looks like the dream, the Wii version looks like a painting.
The Wii controls take a little getting used to, but using the brush with the Remote is pretty fun.
I’m also a huge fan of Okami. If you liked the last few Legend of Zeldas, this is a must buy.
IGN also put up their take on 5 of the coolest levels from NSMB Wii with some video save for the one in the 6th world.
Also of note I found out that NSMB Wii is going to get put in the Wii console at work on Sat. at 4pm to give people a chance to sample it going into Sunday so if you happen to be out some time after 4 on Sat and want to check the game out then check a nearby GS around that time. I’m not going to be able to buy the game day 1 since appaently I’m getting it for free…but i’m gonna have to wait.
