I’m excited about Silent Hill: Origins becuase it actually sounds pretty original and not just a complete wiimake.
I suppose the plot and atmosphere of the game allows this to happen. Which is awesome.

These guys are more talent from Newgrounds…especially Edmund McMillen. This was a flash game before hand and now it’s coming to this system. It’s a straight up platformer…plain and simple. If you want to get a sample of what to expect then try out the flash game.

expect this late 09/early '10 and apparently Millen has another game that he’s going to be bringing to Wii Ware called Aether. I should probably check that out. Nintendo actually came to these guys and asked them to put it up on wii ware.

Completely sold on The Grinder. Apparently they’re going to go see Grinder this Weekend and High Voltage is trying to get some direct feed footage of the game out before the week ends to them so keep an eye out just in case it shows up.

There was a RUMOR that Retro Studios was working on a zelda title…that would have been interesting if it were true but I find it hard to believe…Nintendo’s only let Capcom touch that series…(I ain’t countin cd i) but Retro does have a pretty good track record…

Anywho, you have to admit one thing. Whoever is doing those CGIs for SEGA is pretty awesome. That is Pixar-quality animation.

Cancelled or not, I hope Retro does get greenlighted for an upcoming project for console. They made a 3D Metroid fun. No complaints here if they get to do Zelda. The Capcom Zelda games were fun too, Link roll canceling lol.
Maybe they can finally include voice acting to the series. I don’t care what Nintendo says about keeping Link as a silent protagonist and how he’s supposed to represent the player. They consider the Zelda series to be action/adventure and not RPG (and even if it was RPG, the storyline is linear. You aren’t given the option to be good/bad like in RPGs) correct? Then give the characters voices like every other action/adventure game.
Wii Motion Plus looks like the truth. I bet making the Wii remote even better at motion detection is to pre-empt any new motion controller announcements MS and Sony will be making. I’ll get one like how I got the Rumble Pak when it first came out.

I am interested in this and at the same time, worried. From what I have seen of the game it looked huge but very barren in things to do. Time will tell.
Normally I don’t like EA sports, and I haven’t touched my Wii in months, but I think I may get the new Tiger game. I truly feel that the only time a console golf game ISN’T bullshit is when it’s on the Wii.

Actually apparently Nintendo was Prep-Timing Wii Motion plus way before Sony or Microsoft were even thinking about possibly putting a full motion controller on their system (if it is true that they are doing it).
And yeah I know…people haven’t been keeping up with Wii stuff. I don’t blame ya though cause like i’ve been saying…the 2nd half of last year was sloooooooww and and a snooze fest. Things starting picking up on February and it looks like the snowball is still rolling down the hill.

wow…I’m impressed. This looks like a lot of fun to me and I was instantly getting throwback thoughts to Arcade racers when I was watching this. Damn EA…it really sucks that you don’t think you can do online on this game…but you don’t have any excuses next time…right?
