Best Buy Entering Used Video Game Market:
http://wii.ign.com/articles/997/997122p1.html

woo boy…I’m pretty sure GS will definitely find this a threat if Best Buy gets the ball rolling.

Nothing is particularly new in these videos if you’ve already seen the walkthrough’s before. But the one thing to take note is that you can actually see the person clearly performing the actions at the same time as the video on the screen. It’d pretty accurate. And

IGN Overlord: Dark Legend review
http://wii.ign.com/articles/997/997208p1.html

7.5 Basically said that’s fun and funny but it has problems among these camera issues, draw distance and moronic AI. Some of the problems sound like they could have been fixed if it was held back for another month.

GT Grand Slam Tennis review:
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/review-grand-slam/51859

8.5 So far most reviewers have said that this game is at least better than Wii Tennis so I’m probably going to go ahead and put this on the list with suggestion to only play it with wii motion plus

Edit:

oh and the GC remake of RE gets released tomorrow as well for anyone who’s interested in playing it. No there isn’t going to be really any difference besides waggle so out of everything that’s going to be out tomorrow you know exactly which game I’d suggest picking up…coughConduitcough I may jump online to take a small break from the single player playing after work so if you have the game and you jump online then you might actually run into me. I’ll probably be the guy 'Ninja’ing people with cold clocks on the back of their head.

Do you have more info about the release of REmake for Wii?

Think ‘New Play Control’ and you’ll basically have what Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil is. As far as I know nothing new is being added to the game and it’s just the Gamecube version of RE put on the Wii. For people who missed out on this game, it would probably be a good opportunity to play it. IIRC Capcom isn’t going to be releasing the game at full price ($30 I believe). I don’t know how exactly they’re going to implement the controls but I read that it’s not going to play any different than the gamecube counterpart…meaning there won’t be any IR shooting and the ‘Tank’ controls. Resident Evil 0 is supposed to get re-released on the system as well.

yyup…30…

I believe they use the term re-imagining rather then a remake. The stories are not meant to coincide 100%. Similar yes but not a copy and paste. Sort of like the american movie The Ring was to the japanese version.

The idea of the game playing differently depending on your psychological profile sounds interesting. The game won best Wii game of show at E3 2009 for both IGN and Gamespot.

before I go on my Conduit run I thought this would be pretty interesting…

High Voltage Talks Conduit:
http://wii.ign.com/articles/997/997747p1.html

They say they’re interested in Natal and Sony’s Wand. I think it’d be pretty interesting to see what these guys would do on one of the other systems. And they feel they can do more with the wii console, I say bring it cause I’m enjoying the hell out of Conduit right now.

talks about concepts

I’m gonna hop on Conduit’s online…I’ve completed about 3 of the single player missions so far. Hoping there’s some people to go up against.

I already completed the game. Only took about 6 hours. The online is fun. So far the Human magnum/pistol is really good if u can aim it. Think ur character runs slower online than off. As for the lag…i got like 0. I seriously felt like no lag while playing online.

HVS definitely put a lot of time and effort into this game. It’s fucking awesome in my eyes. Online is nearly flawless and has been quite smooth so far besides some people jumping and teleporting around every so often. Actually doing the motion to hit people with the wii mote never felt so good lol. So far my best weapons are the Shotgun and that gun that I can’t think of the name right now that you charge up and get a spread shot with. That gun is sexy. Turning the spread shot sideways with the wiimote so that it’s vertical and catching people with all 3 shots as they come around the corner is hot. What’s your impressions so far on this game Lilman?

Also gimme your FC that way we might end up getting some games in if you’re online.

FC:5199 - 0189 -0436

Its alot of fun but i found a few instances of clipping and such but its really a solid game all around. All ive played so far is free for all so i really havent tried all the online yet. I should have bought a Wii speak. Also is there a thread for Conduit FC in the Wii online yet?

Edit: Heres FC : 1333-5482-7577

I think I’m going to pick up The Conduit tomorrow. Even though I’ve been mostly on a FPS spree with TF2, Quake Live, and Metroid Prime Hunters.

The Conduit is pretty vanilla, honestly, but the Wiimote play is probably the best in comparison to any Wii FPS game. I can aim very well and the ability to fully customize the controller makes the game feel like warm apple pie.

I agree that the Quantum 3 engine HVS uses fully uses the Wii potential with blur effects, shading, texture mapping, etc., but you can see the limits 480p has. The jaggies are killing me.

I see you…I’M COMIN FO DAT ASS! and the online works very similiar to Mario Kart…very nice. If you’re in a game I can just jump in your game.

make sure you put your FC when you do!

I’m discovering that you can actually sneak around in the game and disappear off the radar if you don’t run around. I think other people are starting to figure that out too cause there’s been a couple of instances of where I was chasing down someone and they suddenly disappeared off my radar. I enjoy trying to be a ninja.

Just like Halo.

that was in halo? oh wow…didn’t know that since most people I’ve seen are running around all over the place. Do that do that in high level play?

OK the Conduit’s online just made me lose like 3 hours. I think thats a good sign.

Yeah, when people get a hold of the sniper rifle, they find a secluded and hard to reach spot and camp. And since campers don’t move, its a bitch to find them.

I wasn’t sure if I was in any of the games you played or not Lilman.

I never noticed that since most of the time when I snipe or one of the people I played against sniped they always ended up getting found someway or another. Never really had too much of a chance to figure that out but that’s helpful information. thanks.

GT The Conduit review:
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/review-the-conduit/51849#comments_top

7.8 That comment about about some of the drudges sounding like some of the covenant from halo is kinda funny. I was thinking the same thing I was playing through it.

Edit:

The comment section apparently has some major hate on this game.

Everyone does. I think they were expecting too much. Its like ppl wanted the best thing ever to come from the wii when its a brand new developer. I think they did a real job showing ppl that the Wii can perform.
