So a related question:
Does this happen on DHC pauses also? DHC pauses are different from normal Super flashes, but if this also happens on DHC pauses then wouldn’t something like:
Magneto combo + Capcom hits, tempest, Capcom hits again, DHC hail, Capcom hits again, hail hits
…be about as dumb as you can get?

i’m not sure how easy it is in arcade but it seems impractical to me on dc but my timing may be off.
Do you guys think it’ll be easy to just add this into a strat? It seems to require parry like timing to get the dhc flash and the assist together or maybe i’m just doing it too early.
The way marvel gets broken down every month really makes me laugh…Just wondering if this has been tested in the arcade??
Cisco-- Ironman’s air throw will always hit an assist just underneath and in front of him, just a weird property of his air throw.
It is pretty weird since most throws don’t affect assists though.
EDIT: Mike Z-- Yeah I was wondering about DHC flashes too… for some reason they have an additional frame of startup when compared to normal super flashes/snapback flashes (IE, IM’s proton cannon isn’t blockable after a regular super flash, but is blockable after a DHC flash).
I wonder if it’s like 0 frames for supers compared to 1 for DHCs, or -1 for supers and 0 for DHCs?
If supers have -1 startup after the flash that could explain the double-hitting assists since the first hit seems to connect in the exact frame the super flash occurs. The hitboxes of all the moves going on in that frame would be repeated the following frame, even if they had already registered as a hit. It would also explain why this glitch doesn’t work for DHCs…
Magneto and glitched Juggs(and nonglitched) was the only people I could do it with… Its crazy with Juggs.

it does work on dc, just way harder to do(so i guess this means the glitch is useless in arcade as well since dc is closest to arcade version?)… can barely get this shit to work, timing for it is very specific.
This has nothing to do with Commando at all but it was a funny glitch that happened with me this pass weekend.
I was fighting sanford, MSP versus santhrax. At like a certain point of the game, we both DHC’ed into storm. For some odd reason, the screen froze a couple of seconds, showed two pics of Storm, then his storm got the hailstorm out, and my storm was in the air trying to do hailstorm but nothing came out. And there was no green screen or anything.
Has this happened to anyone yet?

Hahaha, yea, thats a funny glitch. It happens when both ppl try and DHC at the same time. You’ll see two pics of one character and a super screen, then the super screen will dissapear and all sorts of weird things will happen depending on the characters your using. The most common one (which I believe was demonstrated in Meik v.9 0r 10) is when both players have Magz/Storm and try and DHC to hail at the same time; you’ll see two faces of Storm, and then the super screen will dissapear and both Storm’s will do hail. One of them usually getting snuffed by the other hail followed by a “WTF” from the player. I somehow manage to get this to happen pretty often with a friend of mine. Funny stuff
Does it really matter how long I played? If it never happens to me and I don’t watch a lot of those glitch vids, why wouldn’t I post it?
