I used to play KoF98. I just wasn’t liking the latest release of KoF that’s all :[. I used to play SF/KoF/GG/CvS
But for the last couple years, I’ve been playing a lot of SuperTurbo and just for almost the last year, SFIV.
Damn, my trap failed then. Oh well.

Not even sure where here is really… I’m kinda new to Wichita used to live in Chicago basically all my life- I live in the plainview-ish area of wichita and as you can imagine there isn’t a fighting game fanatic in sight( everyoneis obsessed w/ modifying their trucks around here apparently) I participated in the gamestop SF4 tourney and won the 1st round tourney at the Pawnee and broadway gamestop but never received a call from them for round 2. I did win a SF4 headband though.

Lol.Work, I got offered a job for bank of america and I also got married and had my daughter plus the cost of living is much more affordable than big cities like Chicago. I’m also 25(wich has nothing to do with me moving here, just thought I should put that out there). Meaning to ask -what’s the usual age in your group?

And Jin, it really doesn’t matter about age for us. I’m probably the youngest of the group being 19. Everyone else is around 20-25 average. We all get along just fine because of our common interest in fighting games. No immature BS with us. Just like to have fun.
But yeah, aside from Smash being the big game in Wichita, you will always have someone to play ANY fighter with. Right now it’s primarily SFIV and BlazBlue. I’m pretty sure T6 will be in that lineup as soon as it drops. Im gonna try to learn it, but we’ll see how much time that takes away from SFIV.(probably not much LOL)

smash is popular here,huh? I wish I hadn’t of sold my wii a couple of months ago. Wasn’t really into smash anyways. Though it was fun… When you could play with 4 peeps at a time. Nintendo Wifi sucks bizznalls.
Haha! don’t worry man, we’re all of different age and it’s never been a problem. Even if I’m younger than the other guys.
But yeah, Smash is what I guess Wichita is really known for. Im pretty sure it’s only hosted at Andy’s(Karmacide) on Saturdays, but there’s setups for SFIV and Blaz too. There’s a strong following for Smash, but we have our SF and BB guys. I’m pretty sure even the Smash guys play BB and will be playing T6 too.
Dude I would love to fight your balrog! My fuerte gets compltely shutdown by balrogs online for some reason. I’m trying to dedicate my time between SF4 and T6- I wonder if anyone plays Fuerte among you guys? If you do, I would love some advice on how to pull of his infinite Dash- Fierce Punch string! Not many people use him though…

Haha I never play online really, but when I did, I noticed a lot of them turtle and rely on empty headbutts a lot. I just utilize a lot of his normals and just constantly rush-down. My Viper is similar in the sense I rush down. If you wanna beat me for free, just pick Zangief. It’s been proven that Gief is my kryptonite. Haha
Noone here really plays Fuerte exclusively. Some of us might play around with him, but none of us use him as our Mains or Secondary characters.
At one point I TRIED to use him, but I didn’t like my progress. But yeah, the way I did RSF(Run Stop Fierce/The Loop), was Fierce, QCF+Jab, Jab, Fierce and repeat. The speed you input it increases as you go farther into the loop, but im pretty sure it’s 1-23-4. Something like that. It’s really hard to explain. I might actually try to do it at our next session to see if I can explain the timing. I haven’t done it in awhile.
