Hey Ricky! Cool man- I used to switch to Ken when my Fuerte wasn’t panning out but after seeing Ken get overused on live( seriously like 75% of people use Ken)I kind of stopped, so i just force myself to stick w/ him. Yeah whenever you guys want to let me know I’d appreciate it. Plus, I really want to get into Blazblue, but hardcore SF4/Tekken fan primarily.

I’m going to be transferring to WSU at the end of this semester. I’ve got SF4 as well as MvC2 and HDRemix on my PS3 HD. I suck at all of them. Looking for someone to hit up some games with when I get up there though. Let me know.
The next gen ACs made me mad. The control scheme was kinda counter intuitive. I was so used to looking up and down and strafing all with the shoulders, which made since because you could use your thumbs for shooting, switching weapons, overboost and jettison. But then they go and add all these buttons and now you have to shoot AND look with your thumbs, quick boost with your fingers which are covering all the shoulder buttons. It’s ridiculous. It wasn’t as bad when it was in Nexus through Last Raven, but the new features in AC4: and AC: For Answer threw it off.
Jinzo: The dojo isn’t an actual dojo, but it might as well be. From what I can tell, it’s where all the training goes down at, hence the name. Only been there once myself. Tekken is serious business.
so it’s like invite only or can anyone just walk in and start throwing fists( figuratively) where is this dojo? Do I have to cross a mountain?.. I apologize for that.
You’re better off going with someone, Jinzo. Otherwise the bullshit will be spewing all over you like a drunk prom date (no offense to the drunk prom ladies out there in the wild. You know who you are). I typically tend to waltz over there on Sundays to play Tekken or get wrecked by Darnell when he brings BlazBlue.
Screw AC4 – I know nothing about that game! Throw up (no pun intended) some old school PS2 or PS1 AC and we got ourselves a game. I will money match any fools in that game! First to 1000!

Oh, hey Jon- that’s funny. Man, Cant believe Tekken 6 is exactly 1 week away! It seems like it’s been 4 years ago since they announced the damned thing… Getting kind of anxious-- How do you guys play tekken? Do you study the frame data? Cuz, that what I have to start doing to better my game.
Yeah that’s how I play- just out of instinct and not data- but I hear that I wouldn’t stand a chance using that fight style against people that obsess over frame data… I wonder how hard it would be to learn it? Anyways, I’d still like to test my Jin against them. So what game so you play mainly?

But yeah, I do obsess a bit over frame data. It’s really important to know what moves are safe and what aren’t, and especially important to know what gives frame advantage (if any).

Yea Continuum Shift will be out soonish, a couple of new characters and changed game mechanics. I think everyone pretty much plays stick save for a few people, Darnell and Durrell come to mind when I say that, Zack can play stick when he wants and I’m not sure about Petro. I can play both, but pad only on Tekken, I suck anyway so it doesn’t matter.

But yeah, I’m one of the few guys who play SF4 exclusively in the crew. I try to play other games, but SF is where I’ll always be at. I can only play on a stick for that game.
