What follows is a list of players you can find as well as some info on how to reach them. Personally, I prefer pm’ing them through the beautiful social networking service otherwise known as SRK, but hey you might be different from me and prefer real contact. Reach out and touch someone, literally!

Hey guys, I just moved back from Wisconsin about a month ago. There were some of us who used to play all the time until the arcade at town east got rid of the 3rd strike machine. I haven’t been in town for almost 2 years now though.
I’ve been talking to a few people I know trying to get some interest going. It looks like we could have a decent sized group of people if we all got together. I had to work last weekend or I would have been there. I’ll show up and be at round 2 just to meet you guys and play a few for fun.
Hey guys, I have family down there and I’m randomly in Wichita for days at a time over the course of the year. Next time I’m there I’ll post up and see if we can get some games in.
I play SF4, 3S, A3, MVC2, CVS2, SC4 and T4DR to name a few.

Andy and I plan to attend. We’ve been out of practice for a while, but we’ve been doing tekken gatherings on Sundays for about a month or so now. Andy mostly plays Brawl, and I usually stick to just about every other fighting game.
AFAIK, Darnell hasn’t been in touch with the manager throwing the tournament. Yesterday he said it might’ve been cancelled, but I’ll ask him about it again. As for there not being a thread about it, you’d have to ask Darnell about that. I’m assuming he didn’t put one up because it’s not his tournament or what not, or he’s just lazy, lol.
Even if there’s not T5 tourney, what about a KS SFIV gathering? Does anyone else play SF up there?
Jude: Sure! I don’t know if I’ll be at Round 2, since I didn’t make it. We usually play on weekends like I said before, and you’re more than welcome to come too. Just give me a call when you feel like playing, I’ll try to pull some strings.
BTW, I don’t really remember most of the 3S players at Town East back in the day, but are you / do you know those asian guys and that tall black guy who played it a long time ago? I remember seeing them again at the Town East GS tourney on Saturday.
DigitalGypsy: How often do you come into town? Feel free to give me a call too, if you feel like playing. There’s a guy here who plays SC4 who’s tired of beating us up, maybe you could give him a run for his money ^^
I remember them but not there names. I was the tall white guy, about 6’5". I might have had long hair at the time too, it’s short now though. I played Yang.
Just an idea that’s maybe premature, but I think it’s always good to have something to works towards; lets set up a KC vs Wichita SF4 gathering. Maybe a teams style 5v5? Get it out of the way that Wichita is better. Hah. Something informal to see where the locals stand amongst each other. Sounds like something that needs to go down in April, to me.
Well, we were planning a trip to Wichita on the 7th for the supposed tournament that was supposed to be going on.
As for SFIV, yes, we started playing it. To be fair, we only JUST started playing SF seriously. Prior to a few days ago, I didn’t know how to do more in that game than fireballs and shoryus. We have ONE player here that is tournament material. I wouldn’t mind throwing down with you guys, but we’re new to that game. We are national material at Tekken, and we play enough Guilty Gear to know our way around a tourney for that.
I’d be up for it. It’s on you guys if you can set that up by the 7th of March. I already got that day off work trusting Darnell’s word.
Ah, I see I see. I know for a fact that at least a few of us have been following the game, but we just started playing it last week when it came out. A lot of the guys here are hardcore Street Fighter fans.
I’m pretty aware of how good you guys are at Tekken, but we should save the Tekken talk for the “other” forum lol. It’s a pretty fair trade off – you guys are good at Tekken, and we’re semi-phenomenal at Street Fighter 
I’ll keep you posted on info for the 7th. Most likely Darnell can secure a venue for it.

Seeing as this too quick to prepare for (it’s next week), thought I’d post this here in the match finder thread for any other Wichita players who would like to come. Sunday we’re holding round robins like The Majestic said; anyone who wants to come and participate please give me a call.
Most likely we’ll be playing more games after the tourney, so plan on that if you want to meet and greet other players around the city.
To KC players: would you guys be up for a 5v5 team tournament afterwards? Hit me up and send me your thoughts. I’m thinking it’ll fall under the tougeki standard where each player has to stick with one character, no two same fighters, one match single elimination. Best 5 versus the best 5.

No round robins today as hoped for earlier, but at least we’re meeting more and more people who play SF. Saturday is starting to look pretty good for Wichita!
