Well, I’m buying it right now. I hope I like it.
‘Obviously’ is a strong word, ‘they say they’ll patch it in’ is better.
I’d say make it like the old days where you printed out the faqs to take to the arcade, but a lot of people don’t have printers these days either
I downloaded the full game unlock, but it shows up black when I go to the main screen. How do I unlock the full game?
Downlod the demo after u downloaded unlock key
Heh, this reminds of a web comic on some kid defending his game and when people made fun of it, he defend it by saying “but guys, it’s going to be Patched Soon!!!” and the words “Patch Soon” had this big ass close up of his face as he started crying.
Poor game… I mean, kid.
I get enough exercise outside the house, don’t need any inside…
But I sure do love ice cream.
Bottom line: it’s inconvenient.
I actually had to play SF4 after playing SkullGirls.
It was like drinking shit and having to wash out the taste of shit from my mouth with sewer water.
I need to get KoF 13, I’m dying over here.
If it’s blacked out and unselectable, you have the full game. XBL requires that unlock full game remain on the main menu or something.
XBL? Not out yet, right?
Right. My point was they left that in the PSN version though.
Maybe I don’t buy enough games on live, I have no idea what this problem even is lol.
Ah, okay. I’m using PSN, by the way. It still shows up there.
I’m going thru the trials right now. The mix-up trial was awesome. I really enjoyed that. More fighting game should incorporate something like this into their games.
Looks in the end this game is having a big love or hate community.
You either love it or hate the shit out of it.
So far I like it. Some of the characters are weird, but I’ve found some that I want to main. The only thing I don’t like so far is that movement seems somewhat slow. I wish dashes and jumps were faster.
I had forgotten, but watching streaming again…
the sound is SO BAD, both effects and Voice Acting. That character death sound is the worst sound in games.
Doesn’t that describe virtually every 2D fighting game released after 2009? The fighting game community loves to hate and hates to love in general. That’s what makes it so entertaining.
So, how’s that online working after the patch?
I never notice things like this when people complain about them. What’s so bad about the effects? Seem fine to me. The voice acting is whatever. It’s not like it was a huge budget game anyway.
Mix-ups into throw breaking is the hardest trial for me. I always suck at timing throw breaks.
They seem like they’re too loud, and certain of them are just nails-on-chalkboard terrible.
Mike’s ratios:

A solo character can still kill a team of 3 in 3 combos. And that team of 3 does not have free combo breakers, you only get a burst if the IPS detects a true infinite and the system can be pushed simply by changing/adding normals in the combo, so it’s easy to extend a combo to kill a character.
I’m wishing some jump attacks were just, well, normal punches and kicks. Some come out delayed and are more than one hit.
you realize that dying is a combo breaker right?
Barring happy birthdays, there’s a hard cap of 33% damage on any combo against a team of 3. It’s the same argument used when talking about TOD’s and infinites in MvC.
That’s probably why he said 3 combos
Sent using my imagination
