Why people hate/love Decapre

I ain’t scurred. My character has so of the highest stuns and damage output in the game; she fucks up she’s gon hurt just as bad if not worse than what she does to me.

You better hope her teleport isn’t throw invincible, or Makoto’s fucked :rofl:.

He’s just spamming the forum with Anti-Decapre bullshit on an alt account. Flag him and keep it moving.

Again I don’t have an alt account there are others that hate Decrape. Maybe those three extra spots for character select screen on the Japanese website will be Alex Karin and Q for future ps4 version If that happens I have no choice but to forgive Capcom.

Its already been confirmed that was an old build. They did that on purpose to hype the character up. She already lost her air spiral arrow and added a shadow to her teleports. Its very predicable now.

Correction. She lost her GROUND spiral arrow, still has the air. :wink:

Making them more “predictable” isn’t much of a loss in a game with autocorrect DPs. Using them right is still likely going to be a matter of conditioning your opponent. Now it’s just one of her tools instead of her seemingly dominant tool. Let’s not forget things like the fact that she can fake out both air and ground scramble and that it seems that her divekick is + frames on block (leading to possible frame traps and pseudo frame traps).

They got rid of that horrible air spiral? Good lol. I thought the teleports already had shadows… And wasn’t there already a way to determine the trajectory of them?

Yea the ground one is lost but check out the difference in the shadow in her teleport now.

Oh, I see. It’s a lot more telegraphed now… That’s fair. Still very usable, though, especially in conjunction with everything else she has.

Well thats what we want, a usable character. All characters to be usable. Once everyone gets used to her style she wont seem as threatening as she does now.

The only things on her tHat look a bit silly are her Ultras and EX stomp. Pretty much everything else doesn’t look nearly as “OP” to me as people seem to think.

I’m not looking at everything separately, I’m looking at the synergy they have with each other. W Ultra gives her access to an Anti Air Ultra, one that can be easily(?) combo’d into and used as a punisher, and one that sets up a whoooole bunch of fun stuff, all at the same time.

If people don’t feel like she’s going to be OP, that’s fine with me. I don’t have to worry about feeling guilty when using her like I sometimes do with Cammy now that she’s “OP.” :rofl:

It’d be interesting if she comes out and is relegated to the mid-tier category like Oni. And then someone picks her up and starts winning she becomes top tier.

I don’t think she looks that op. Especially since her anti air game seeks to pale in comparison with Cammy and she lacks the ability to change her air trajectory on jump ins.

Yea, that’s possibly one thing… It looks like she missed out on a lot of AA options with the differences in FP.

I hope they change some of her normals though, even if it’s only in terms of hitbox or whatever.

I don’t like characters with exactly the same normals. Even shotos have that distinction.

Well her 3 frame Ultra is now gone. Lol

She’s a charge character though, you won’t be jumping in much with her.

Can she still target into it?
