I think Jin would be paired with Alex or Cody (if they’re using Alpha characters).
kaz is simply the main character of the game. To counter SF’s main character. I doubt the devs even have a story for this game.
And if I were a betting man, they probably won’t care about a story anyways. Might just say some world tournament crap…yadda yadda…end boss either heihachi or m. bison. Good stuff. :rolleyes:
Character match ups will be janky. I mean seriously, who’s gonna match Dhalsim? 
SF only has one character to counter tekken TKD characters (Hwoarang/Baek) and that’s Juri…lame. There isn’t a real tekken character to counter Guile…what Paul? :lol:

This game is going to FAIl on so many levels the more I think about it. The ONLY thing that can save it, is good quality gameplay. SF x T is already shitty. Basically it’s SSF4 with tag, chains, and 20+ Abel characters with hella overheads lolzzzz.
So T x SF will have to be the savior of this “project”, putting SF characters in a “real” 3d enviornment and MAKING IT WORK!!!

hey guys I don’t mean to advertise my site, but seeing as tho Tekken Nation has already been mentioned, I’d like to say Jun Kazama has more or less been confirmed to make an appearance, as both Harada and Ono san strongly hinted towards it

personally I think a Kazuya is a great front man for tekken, and a Jun tag partnership makes sense, I can’t wait to see it 
If Jinpachi surprisingly is in, I’d expect him feuding with Oro instead.
Besides in SFxT Gouken can teach Jin how to use his great power, that’s why I expected that feud.

Kazuya’s the original badass of Tekken.
Kazuya has been the main character up until Tekken 3. All together he’s been the driving edge in the storyline anyway. Heihachi’s whole purpose was to reclaim the Mishima Zaibatsu because Kazuya was running it dishonorably, Jin’s whole purpose is to defeat his father to destroy the devil gene, and a lot of other characters want to take down G Corp, or Kazuya for various past reasons. He’s definitely the one pulling the strings.

Harada said he wanted to keep Jun dead, but Ono wanted her in the game. Harada hasn’t actually hinted at putting her in the game, Ono wants her, and Harada is pretty against it as it would ruin and future chance of saying A) she’s dead, or B) making a surprise appearance.

I have one title to mention that is going to rape your horrible idea of the Cross series failing… Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Those characters don’t have counters or equal representations. The game is just good because it is. A well built game doesn’t need character countering, it just needs great gameplay, and a well balanced roster that doesn’t say “Hey don’t pick this side of the cast or you lose” (cough, MvC2)

The only reason Kazuya is being treated like shit for the last few games is because Harada hates him, and wanted to push Jin down our throats, and since the original fans hated it continues to do so by making Kaz look like shit since tekken 4.
Kazuya is and should be the main protagonist/antagonist of tekken. He is the original KOIF winner and 100x cooler than the other candidates.
Heihachi defeated him in tekken 2 because of his internal conflict with the devil. (signified by the angel standing behind him in the opening) Since then Harada has taken the reigns and Kazuya is being treated like a loser to make jin look good.
apparently harada recently lost about 16 matches to Ryan Hart playing Kaz and made some comment about nerfing the fuck out of him in the next game. (when he is only at best mid tier as it stands after the BR nerfing.)
In typical form I see the Tekken version artwork focuses on Jin vs Ryu… It seems capcom are more in touch with the tekken franchise than the actual tekken team these days.
