I just checked some Wikis, Poison was a chick until they made her a potential hermaphrodite. They kept the rest ambiguous, because why not? more sales.

My theory, Poison was a female but altered for stupid censorship reasons so I’m stick with original canon and not honoring decisions made to appease the feels of the US market.

The FGC is good for the fact that it rarely gives a fuck about anyones personal life past what they see initially. Take Ricky Ortiz, one of the greatest FG players in history changes genders and nobody really cares, it’s business as usual and that’s how it goes.

You’re judged based on your performance in the games you like, that’s all people care about and I like it that way.

Personally, I just genuinely don’t care. Be whatever and do whatever you want, I don’t care in the slightest, Poisons gender didn’t even come into it in retrospect.

I think that her gender if altered for censorship should be called out, I dont like chaning stories to match the feels of the audience. Sort of like how games will leave chunks out to sell to Australia or Germany. If that is actually what happened to Poison then it is kinda important that it is known (as important a polygon gender can be I guess). Its the idea of censorship that is troubling.
