I’m trying to incorporate c.LK > c.LP > c.HP for hit confirm but occasionally the c.HP misses by a hair and my linking efforts go to waste. sigh I COULD try c.MP, but I’m a sucker for big damage/stun and there’s a 35/40 difference. Hoho.
As for topic, I think Rufus/Akuma might be onto me now. =(
If c.HP misses you’re too far away 
Using c.MP or c.MK won’t enable you to combo the EX Shunpuu in those situations (at least it won’t most of the time). Need to be able to judge the distance as you jump in, if you deem it too far then you’ll want to change the end to c.MK xx Shou instead (which is a trickier link combo) 
Doing c.LK > **s.LP **> c.MK instead gives you an extra frame to work with, putting it on the same “frame level” as c.LK > c.LP > c.HP

But it’s that vague one step difference between a c.HP hit or miss that’s killing me. XD

Why I chose sakura
I played Arcade with Ryu first (maybe everyone did). Unlocked her. Then unlocked everyone else. She seemed to be the most fun. One problem. Always sucked with her.
People said I should main someone else like Ryu. I couldn’t bring myself to it.
Also, Sakura means cherry blossom and my last name is Flowers so I feel we have a connection.
PLus I like games where I play as the under dog. When I win I feel I outsmarted my opponent.
If you think about it, Sakura is the most badass player of the cast and story line. I mean all the others came from some form of extreme training to perfect their craft. Sakura didnt and I dont count her time with Dan. So wouldnt that mean she is natural fighter since she is basically self taught? I mean I admit that I do not know the history in detail but some of the stuff I read makes it appear that way. If I am way off base here, my apologies.
I never paid much attention to the story lines. All I know is Ryu is a douche! Running around picking fights. Not finishing his Sakura training because he lies and says, “I’m still a student myself.” Then she runs back to school.
As for Dan… I’m sure its because of him that her hadouken doesn’t go full screen.

For Ryu to finish his “Sakura training” he needs to start it in the first place 
Sakura’s Hadouken almost goes full screen, if referring to it not dissipating at all her EX Hadouken doesn’t Don’t blame Dan though, if he hadn’t explained how to concentrate ki and project it physically then Sakura wouldn’t be able to do it at all. She’s still a lot better at ki control than most of the cast and she’s just started her fighting career, think about how awesome she’ll be at it (and other things) later when she’s more experienced

I chose her because 1 frame links are impossible online. I made sure i picked a character with a BnB that had a one frame link involved

She is low tier too. I love that. Honestly I don’t like SF4 too much and only play it to win with Sakura…
