Amen. I learned way more about WW2 from playing those war games.
Sgt. Arnold the Pig, a traitor who shot 5 of his team mates and “tea bagged them” while storming the beach of normandy. Laughing the entire time.
i think its because you touch youself at night. Just sayin’
Actualy Nasu wrote a whole series of actual books (Kara no Kyoukai) before Tsukihime, and the main way for most writers over there to get recognition is H stuff because sex sells, you’d be suprised at the manga artists who started out with H before getting well known enough to have their stuff serialised.
Maybe it’s for people with original opinions who don’t steal terms off 4Chan?
I’m going to Evo cosplaying as Sion, complete with mini skirt and thigh highs. Of course I won’t be shaving my legs either.
Ah so you’re after the femate tournament’s pot then? :china:
One of the characters’ father raped one of the other characters.
Anime Stereotype 101
Does anyone want to say a word about the gameplay?
Because I came into this thread with the same question, but expecting someone to tell me why the gameplay is different from other fighters that look the same.
I don’t know anything about anything when it comes to these little girl fighters.
It’s different from other little girl fighters in that it only has one little girl character and half the cast is men.
Why does it actually have a wiki entry
Yeah I was wondering about that too.
Wondering where the hell this Ben Reed guy started harping about visual novels and shit.
Kinoko Nasu is an auteur, but his writing is quite good and well thought out, I could write essay’s about Tsukihime, and that’s more than i could say for just about anything else. It has interesting characters at first glance and they get better the deeper into the story you get even as you go through the different routes. The drama is there without anyone being shinji emo. The plot is full of twists and intrigues that are hard to predict and it is fun to try to with all the tricks that Nasu’s uses to toy with your perception of the reality in the story. It has relevant existential themes that span through and are examined differently through each arc and he is actually subtle when applying them…
Even if you just read through it without thinking though it is a very entertaining work with a unique and interesting characters and plot for anyone that likes anime and isn’t faint of heart, but its really much more than that. It got layers.
stupid thread is stupid. let’s all stop this nonsense and learn TOURNAMENT FIGHTERS.
This whole thread is shitty emo
kill yourself
Also Melty Blood outside having ABC air combos is nothing like other doujin games.
There’s only one actual little girl, everyone but the agents (Sion, Ciel, ROASTBEEF,and omitting Aoko) and are dressed casually for Fall, there’s little to no fanservice of the sexual kind, and the music that is memorable isn’t made by MINTJAM.
On the gameplay side, its not that its combo oriented as it is offense oriented. There’s rarely an universally unsafe move and when there is it normally depends on you and your opponent’s reaction time.
There’s also mid-air footsies as quite a few characters do short flips that reset their motions rather than the traditional horizontal air dash.
This unfortunately also gives Melty Blood a deserved reputation of being mashy. Like Shiki Tohno/Nanaya have FANTASTIC air attacks and can spam them all they want to get safe jump-ins.
have u considered taht his name might be ironic
- Because the franchise is popular but also because the fighting games got an arcade release and got really good competitively after a few versions. (unlike the fate stay night game)
- Because that style of play for 2d fighters is popular among the japanese arcade goers and because it’s really fun to play.
And it’s still a very different game from GG like Arcana is different.
