Er, where did Gill get deconfirmed? All I’ve seen mentioned of him officially is Niitsuma saying he liked the character in a tweet.

Eventhubs interpreted that tweet as saying “No Gill”. I suppose I haven’t tried to translate it myself, but that’s why people would think that.

Desu yo ne is just like, “is”, kind of. “Gill is ‘ii’, you know?”.
Depending on how you translate the “ii”, he could be saying he thinks Gill is a great character, or he could be saying something more along the lines of “he’s cool but no”, or “that’s all right.” Kind of like “thanks, he’s great, but no thanks.”
Since it’s got an exclamation point, and he seems to always be in a happy, joking mood, I’m thinking it’s more along the lines of “thanks but no thanks.”

So he seems to be giving his personal thoughts on Gill rather than confirming or deconfirming him
black panther was a stream decomf. imo nycc… When the translator guy and jgonzo were on the mic.
I still need verifiable links for Gambit, Black Panther, Silver Surfer and Megaman X, so if anyone know out there knows where these guys got the verbal axe (I believe Gambit was the NYCC stream right?) give me a holler and I’ll search for the video/article.

I was the ‘source’ for no Gambit and SS, and yeah heard it during one of the NY stream interviews. Pretty sure it was Saturday, but not 100% sure.
For SS he was compared to Ghost Rider and N said they gave up on him because they couldn’t implement the board in a way that worked, I don’t remember for sure the context for Gambit unfortunately 
I suppose I could just replace ‘verification needed’ with ‘Trust Wind cuz he’s kewl’. :lol:

I’m currently considering whether to remove Gambit and Silver Surfer as ‘Unequivocal disconfirms’ until links appear as it’s just not helpful for those not already in the know. I was gonna add Black Panther because people were mentioning stream de-confirms, but then someone started saying that it was a confirm! I hate stream de-confirms! They make editing this thread annoying!
Obviously I trust Wind, it’s just a case of keeping this thread tidy and useful. I think I’m only gonna put de-confirms up once I have links to source them with, even if I personally witness a stream disconfirm I’ll wait for a video or article to surface.
