Who still plays SF4?

Did anyone get rid of their Street Fighter Four copy? I still have mine. I still play actually, Do you think there’s no reason to play Street Fighter 4 now that Super is out? I mean I know the obvious answer I’m just asking would you still hit Live on SF4?

I dont know how much I count towards your op but I play on PC soo yeah its my only option as of right now. If SSFIV was released no question I would play it just for the new char’s… And I kinda like having the ability to change up my ultras.

^ I do want the PC version to see what it’s like. I dunno once I get SSF4 I’ll probably stop playing sf4 most of the time. But I wonder if Going on live and getting G points is even worth it seeing as all the professional players left the SF4 world and fell into SSF4.

The competition isnt stale at all yet for me anyway. Not too much lag although I refuse to play anyone that doesnt “show” green bars. If I wasnt soo pissed with consoles these days Id pick up another on to play ssfiv more on but 2 rrod’s was enough for me.

i still play because akuma is awesome in sf4 and not so cool in ssf4 but i only play against the computer though because no one is playing that old shit. got ssf4 for xbox.

holy fuck my eyes

Holy shit my buuuuutt…

Yeah my butt can’t bear yellow.

I gave SF4 to a friend. Hopefully he’ll get good at it, addicted, and eventually buy Super. If not, I’m taking my shit back! lol

You sir must be trollin’

I like IV better than Super IV. IV has a better ratio of classic Street Fighter II characters to what I call “garbage characters”. On top of that, I really like Sagat and while I could understand them toning down his damage and his life, the angry scar move is a blasphemous joke as far as I’m concerned. If they wanted to bring in poorly conceived characters from Super Turbo, Alpha, and III, and make crappy cartoony new characters, ok, but to mess with the classics and make them silly? It’s just plain dumb.

IV feels like a modern adaptation of classic Street Fighter II while Super IV feels like a mix of all the Street Fighter games, filled with crappy characters and a lame version of Sagat.

I’ll stick with Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting and Street Fighter IV.

Is that a troll post? I hate SSF4 because it gives people who aren’t me more choices and I don’t get free wins with a stupid OP character?

Like I said, I would understand them lowering Sagat’s health and damage so that he’s not such a beast, but the angry scar move is really lame and cartoonish. The screen goes dark around him, he turns to face the screen and he lights up, everything is paused, then he turns back to his opponent? You think that’s cool or stylish? To me it’s a weak idea that doesn’t fit with a character that didn’t need changing in so far as his style is concerned. There has to be another way to balance him.

I’m not after free wins. I use Sagat in Hyper Fighting and while he’s no slouch at all, he’s never ranked higher than 3rd in that game and I’ve heard top players quoted as saying that he’s fourth (out of 12 if you don’t know the game. strong but hardly godly). I use him because I like him. Change his damage output or his health, just not his style.

And it’s not that I’m against other people having choices, it’s that I don’t want to see horribly thought up characters in the game. It’s not just that I don’t want to use them, I don’t want to play against them. They suck. Street Fighter IV has more of a Street Fighter II feel to it and I like that.

Your panties still in a bunch or can you live with my opinion now?

Me, I play it for PC, but I do not think I would play SSF4.I must first master the original, and then the copy.SSf4 is a joke, here comes a manga/anime chick with huge tits and kicks your ass like a bully, instead of making you happy :clown: And there is plenty of room for spam with those chicks.Sagat must always be 1st in the tier, because a master Thai-boxer can easily break a baseball bat with his roundhouse kick, not to mention what would happen to a tiny little karate joke like Ryu or Ken, the do not stand a single chance.Ooops, the game is Japanese, and they always dream of beating Thailand in combat sports :looney: Any fighting game is a copycat of the real martial arts, so it must be as close as possible.I am a thai-boxer and a sambist as well, but I never use Sagat, Zangief or Abel, because I know the real deal and I dont want to ruin my sports shape and skills, using them for a mere game.I like that Rufus is 1st in the new game tier, he deserves it.After seeing how JW and other top players use him, I knew it.I was extremely happy when Sagat was the 1st in the tier, I have always been a fan of Sagats and even started training Muay Thai.I must first pick a good stick, as I hate Sanwa sticks, they are such a joke, and I cannot use my X-Arcade for SF4.I put a Seimitsu LS-32 inside my HRAP 3 and I hope it will not miss Ultras like hell, like the SANWA JLW-Um.

What is this I don’t even

Are there still a lot of people online with vanilla?

Never said you weren’t entitled to your opinions brotato ^.^ … just found it a tad amusing that better balance and more choices are your primary reasons for not liking a game… oh, and a move no one uses anyways.

how the hell is angry scar like a cartoon. He does even explain, just gives a description of the move and doesn’t make a mention on the gameplay aspect of it. Definitely troll post.

O RLY? O_o

Pretty funny, me and my friend play super and now that my friends not playing his vanilla his little brother plays that  amazing to see how much scrubby comp still have vanilla online! My friends little bro just does circles and x button/ rt all punchs with ken on an xbox controller and actually wins at times.

Bizazedo,

I haven’t been playing it enough online to properly judge the scene but I can say that when I’ve looked for opponents I’ve found them. I’ve had trouble at times finding championship mode games but I’ve been alright with unranked matches.
