I have nothing to do with ChrisHu. He lost stupidly in that kof98UM but it’s pretty clear he was new to the game (couldn’t get around Geese, which he has probably never fought before). And what’s this about me losing, you are the one that doesn’t even want to accept my challenges. We have top players like Dakou, Kyokugendoa, Hammer and many others playing on GGPO and displaying great stuff, and you just keep going on and on about lag and stuff you have no idea about because you haven’t even attempted it.

Also for everyone else, I had a plan to stop by Sinaloa, Mexico (Where Khannibal and Marin live) and have a tournament that way anyways…but since this is happening I’m gonna use that opportunity to see if I can’t bring Alexis, Esteban, Hugo with me while I’m going down South.

ChrisHu apparently was talking shit and decided to challenge Mr. Kof in a game he doesn’t play (UM), and he got beat bad by Geese(for the most part). So yeah, ChrisHu got overconfident by challenging in a game he doesn’t play. What I’m discussing though, is OG98, not UM. I don’t think Mr. Kof can take on ChrisHu in OG98 at all.

So yeah, the rest of what you said doesn’t apply.

Well the thing about those 98UM matches is that not only did ChrisHu not know about the recoveries of those geese repukkens but also didn’t know which jumpins were counterable with low Bs (you can see him trying to low B against Geese’s jump C a couple of times with Chris/Iori and getting hit - that jump C looks like it’s counterable by low Bs but seems like it isn’t).

If he actually knew all that stuff beforehand, he wouldn’t have lost so much damage while finding out those things. If Mr. Kof had used some characters that were for the most part, left relatively unchanged from 98, then the matches might have been more convincing when it comes to whether Mr. Kof is better than ChrisHu in OG98.

there is a big difference between OG98 and 98um. For one new characters and Ex characters plus different property’s in moves. Extra mode big difference from OG98 with the walk speeds,breaking stocks and plus charge times are different too. Finally the damage property’s are different too and the re-balancing of the game also.

Two of the three characters Mr. Kof used are not even in OG98 and one of them is unarguably the best character in the game. You can say ChrisHu was stupid to talk shit and then challenge in a game he doesn’t play, but the fact remains that he wasn’t familiar with a lot of the changes that made him take damage while figuring them out.

Don’t remember where Geese was exactly, but most of the people that he brings up are from Mexico and the internet there isn’t good enough for any true lag free figthing game experience though it’s passable for FPS and strategy games.

Again it’s the internet itself in Mexico. Japan has near intranet speeds with 100 mbps as consumer level for about 40-50 bucks a month. Mexican broadband is mostly stuck at 3 mbps and the quality of it varies wildly on how stable it is so there can be huge lag spikes that come out of nowhere. That’s the problem right there, it’s in constant flux
