I say go Elena, but for selfish reasons as I’m interested in trying her out post patch 
I’d recommend Elena since she’s a lot rarer.
Yeah Elena should be left with Gem or Dru. They do a lot of good work on her board.

Elena doesn’t have really big post tag combos, but she can at least slap on an additional 100 damage or a hard knockdown. This could changed post patch however. Will update

Preferred Team Position: It depends really. I personally like Elena on point cause of her long reaching pokes and decent meter building capabilities. That said, she’s also a character that benefits from having a lot of meter as her EX Rhino Horn hits crouchers, and EX Spin Scythe or EX Lynx Tail launches opponents up for further combos, so you might prefer to play her in the back.

Please tell me how I would update the wiki if I don’t have permission to do so. I honestly don’t know how to get around that. o_O
You just register for an account and wait a few days for it to get approved.
I’m all for adding to the Wiki, most of them become horribly out of date too fast, and the forums collect so much unorganized information.
But I also think this topic is a great idea as well, if used to collect info for the wiki. Use it as a collective database of up to date info for all the characters. Why not collect data here, edit it up and format it so it looks good, and once characters are in an acceptable state add to the wiki?
Compared to the character-specific forums, the info posted here could be more clear and concise, because some character forums are much better organized than others, and you normally need to sift through dozens of combos to find the ones that are most optimized or practical/easy to perform. This post could solve those problems and once approved bring it on over to wiki.
I for one would prefer complete info rather than half-assed info on the wiki.
What would be half assed? I mean it would be very few people contributing to the wiki. They could just pass over the information there. I am not implying every single person sign up to try and get accounts to put up things there individually.
Reserved for Julia and Guile. Guile’s getting substantial nerfs, but nothing that will change his character’s core capabilities. They just make it that much harder for him to do what he wants to do.
Julia’s getting a couple of new interesting normal options, and a couple of interesting special buffs, as well as some nerfs which will redefine the way she plays (things like the system changes to cross rush combos especially will hurt her), so it’s hard to say what she’ll look like in 2013. But I’ll write up what I know will remain unchanged and then edit the post to reflect 2013 changes after Jan. 29th
…I hope I’m not the one that has to do Nina. I can’t be qualified for playing the game for this short a time.

IMO Nina is a very complete character. I don’t think there is much to look forward to. Everyone else gets nerfed, she will be doing a lot of hurting with what she already has.

lol, alright. Well if no one steps up I guess I can do Nina post-patch but I still believe there has to be someone more qualified.
I would contribute her but there’s a good chance I will be changing teams entirely very soon. Post reserved for when I’ve decided on a team to focus on.

Maybe you could ask the person who made this guide to edit King’s entry in the Wiki. 
This thread is pretty useful. I’m starting to get into this game because of 2013 and it’s nice to have a cheat sheet just to get a basic overview of all the characters without having to flip through each forum or the outdated published guides.
I can help post things to the srk wiki and start organizing the information there, but someone should make sure that the information is accurate because I personally won’t be able to double check things.
