Kindevu won Evo, and SBO. He stopped playing before the game went through it’s last major evolution, I would say, but even without that, I still put him in Top 5.

chunksta has proven himself in tournament more than a handful of players with arguably similar tournament success. i personally think schmidt is better, but he didn’t travel as much as chunk outside of evo and sb. Duc, Row, David Lee were all at some point, considered the 2nd best marvel player behind justin, but they didn’t travel much, except for Row. I think clockwork is a fan favorite marvel player because of his team and what he’s done with it, but he tended to lose pretty often against other top marvel players. and clockwork didn’t invent Strider/Doom, Eddie Lee and Alex Valle did around the same time during the games early stages. Alex Valle (and Duc) also invented MSP IIRC.

I think this is difficult, because it differs at different times during the games history. Bas was nowhere near his dominance in late cvs2 during early cvs2. he was good, but he didn’t get smh-good until late cvs2 (which seems to be typical of him), but he did have a sick Rolento. early american cvs2 was absolutely dominated by Ricky. win after win after win. I believe he was the first US player to really start abusing/utilizing RC. around mid 2000’s, Kindevu beasted on everyone. he won evo twice IIRC, won SBO, then left the scene. Uma and Bas are/were the two best cvs2 players during its ending, but Uma hasn’t travelled like Bas, so Bas has a better international track record. I’d place it like this…
