Capcom by default, because X-23’s theme is that bad.
Remove it, and Marvel wins it.

BTW, theme songs would instantly go to unknown tier of greatness, had Capcom put more of a raw element into thier songs.

Spencer’s theme would be beyonder tier if they used taht broski dubstep remix that’s floating on youtube.
To be honest, though, (I’m going to get real defensive here) it’s not that I totally love her theme or something. I think of it more as… low mid-tier. Viable, but there are far more superior themes (like Doom’s).
It’s just… catchy. I’m a sucker for catchy tunes.

Its not that I hate themes with lyrics or anything either. I think Dante’s and Deadpool’s are great. Just happen to dislike X-23s (and a lot of other themes, too. tbh There are some great ones tho)
It is catchy tho, I was doing chores and found myself whistling it -__-
She-Hulk’s sounds like an aerobics music… not saying it’s bad… I think it’s quite cool but I just can’t help recalling my first reaction when I heard it… “Hey, why do I have an aerobics music in my media library? Oh, it’s She-Hulk’s theme. :D”
I gotta go with Capcom when it comes to numbers… I like more of their themes such as Wesker’s, Dante’s, and Ammy’s… However, overall, my favorite is Deadpool’s… I hate Joe’s…
Marvel
Spidey, Thor, IM, Cap, MODOK, Doom, Taskmaster, Hulk vs. Haggar, Ammy, Arthur, and Spencer. Everything else needs buffs.
Ultimate may change though. Capcom’s getting Strider, Wright, and Frank. Hawkeye’s theme is dope though.
Dante, Trish, and Wesker are the reasons I set my game BGM to Dramatic.

Those other themes ain’t classic. The pinnacle rule of games is to use the BGM associated with that character from their debut game or use the BGM of the first stage of their game which was the case of guys like Arthur, Spencer, Haggar, Strider, etc.
Capcom should have used a different song for Viewtiful Joe. True Heroes or the transformation theme from the VJ anime would have been Elder god tier. Even though, most of the themes on both sides are kinda ass, save for a few.

This is the only version of Wesker’s theme I recognize. Not that the MvC3 version is bad, it just lacks oomph.

I find myself listening to Wesker, Chris, Ammy, Trish and Magnus more often than others. That and CapAm’s theme when I’m too bored to deviate from the default punching bag.
When I listen to Wesker’s theme I find myself Lost in Nightmares

I enjoy Jill and Doom’s themes the most, so that’s a tie, but then my subsequent favorites on the Capcom side (Trish, Haggar, Morrigan) outweigh my favorites on the Marvel side (Phoenix, Sentinel) ever so slightly.
Capcom has Arthur so I picked Capcom. Also now Firebrand.
And people like Doom’s? Really? I want to fall asleep listening to it.
I really like Dormammu’s theme.
Taskmaster’s also happens to be better than Dark Phoenix with X-Factor against Hsien-Ko.
