Dude then why doesn’t he, you know, revamp the forum section of Eventhubs so it will bring more people in daily??? Fight tracker is cool and everything, but it isn’t going to KEEP people coming to the website and staying on the website. A legit working forum might just do that. He has been saying for the longest that they were going to revamp the forums and it hasn’t happen yet.
Edit: And have you seen the ads on that website recently? I can’t move my mouse an inch without a Ad blocking out Half the screen and or blocking out important parts of the articles. Or even better, music blasting out of no where. I’ve been to porn sites with less intrusive Ads then Eventhubs.
I used to go to EH because they posted something kinda similar to news. Then that banner up at the top happened and my hits dropped off. Now, they have that 80% adblock-turn-off block and I’m like, “Peace fam. Yo shit wasn’t dat good anyway, nigga.”
If you encounter a problematic ad, just message them.
I for one, never had ads that block anything. Once I had a full screen **background **ad which looked weird. I messaged them and the remove said ad.
I agree that they need a forum revamp tho. Also something I urged them multiple times to do. They have something in the works about that. Sooner than later as well.
Frankly EH is better for fighting game news even if someone else as posted it else where while srk is more of the social and discussion part

EH probably need to revert to the banner at the top of the page rather than an all or nothing play with blocked content. It’s also time for members of the FGC to realize that we (those us that can) need to contribute to maintain the services we use. Of course, this only applies to we the plebeians (read: 09+ners and non GDers) and those uncouth enough to be caught utilizing the services of EH.

Shit dude, I was going to donate a few bucks to Ehubs simply because I RESPECT what they were doing for the fgc, even after catalyst called me a venom spewing troll. however, blocking out the entire site just because they feel Ad block is the reason their website is failing? Yeaaaaah fuck that i’ll keep my to donate to something else.
a script that blocks out eventhubs completely sounds pretty fucking sick. now if they could just make one for the SRK front page comments section.
Because they aren’t forcing me to pay 20 bucks or remove my ad blocker and deal with annoying intrusive ADs to enjoy their website
