Let’s not forget how fucking awful SRK was a while back when it took 5 minutes to load a damn thread, and intrusive ads were plastered everywhere with some black guy rapping about diabetes inducing drinks. Even worse, the transition after to vanilla was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen, and even now the site aesthetically pales in comparison to its old layout.

I’m done, also- the moderators troll users. That was something that always irk’d me, as users are the ones who keep the site alive. Eventhubs acting like we owe them something. I don’t mind ads, but goddamn it when it’s those f*cking intrusive ones that pop up when you’re clicking a bloody link- I am going to pull Ad blocker on you- and now that they have the banner- GG. Also, their articles were mostly poorly written shit, hentai updates, updates on a speculation off some person’s tweet, shit that no one cares about, or updates on players people don’t want to hear or care about. In other words, most articles were non-substantial stuff- certainly not stuff worth disabling Ad blocker for or shelling out 20 bucks… and again- moderators are highly biased dicks swinging the ban hammer if an user posts something that isn’t in alignment to their views…

I realise I’m on SRK - but I’m not gonna hide the fact that I visited Ehubs often for news/latest vids and other FGC related things. WHy, because they seemed way more active in updating What I don’t get is, the hate? Why hate something that’s part of the FGC? It’s the same thing with PS3/Xbox fanboyism - fighting over nothing that you really own! Do people forget they’re the consumers, not the businessmen behind these companies??
Anyway - forcing us to turn off adblock is a bold move. The 20 dollar subscription was a fair attempt which I ignored - but really, you want me to turn off adblock? No thanks.

I hate them for the same reason I dislike Maximillian. No matter how good your intentions, if you are consistently proven to be misinformed and incompetent, it gets grating.

The SRK front pages is also trash, but at least some of the posters in the forums know what they’re talking about. Eventhubs on the other hand has always been a cesspool through and through.
Last I checked, we actually beat ehubs to reporting GGXrd on PS3/PS4 and the new F2P singleplayer only smh Soul Cal.
Some people just don’t take it that serious I suppose. I don’t see that as an issue.
Actually, SRK used to be run at cost. It was only when Kineda and Keits came on board and Keits started posted more stuff on the front page that we started to make some money.
