Nah I know that, if I get the first knockdown or do get close enough to knock him down its not that bad. Getting close to him/escaping his pressure are the main problem(s).
Having almost no exp against Deejay doesnt help either, I’ve played like 3 (decent) deejays throughout my sf4 career lol.
his pressure is kind of meh cause of his low throw range and only being able to kara throw off of a close normal. he doesn’t really have good normals to frame trap with either other than jab/close forward. strings ending in sobat where he gets most of his chip are punishable by claw. You can just walk him to the corner.

As much shit as I get for playing Rufus on XBL I’m surprised he wasn’t mentioned. Personally, I hate seeing the Rufus mirror and Zangief, mainly because it’s just not a very fun fight for either player I don’t think.
The final of the 25th in LA was Rufus x Gief and it was a battle of lots of tension and very little action. Tons of timeouts.

Try this vs Blanka…the large majority of Blanka’s have no fucking clue what to do and do wakeup ultras.
1)get a knockdown…any knockdown…do cr.mk on blanka’s wakeup…over and over and over. It beats all of his options sans ex upball, but thats punishable on hit, so no worrys, and blanka’s ultras will beat it out, but the majority of the time you can kinda get a feel for when theyre going to use it…so just sweep his ass into the corner, then when you think hes going to ultra, just sit tight. he’ll either ultra, and get punished, or he’ll do some form of ball…which you can punish with a hard knockdown move of your choice. of course this wont work vs GOOD blanka players, but its definitely fun vs scrubby online blankas. and if you feel like styling on him, you can do a TK Izuna to punish his U1 after you block it. pretty fun. Anyways, have fun with it.
This doesn’t work any longer because EX up ball knocks down in 2012.
