Ive noticed so many rose players online recently, like every other game is against a rose. she’s annoying for sure, such a lame ass character.
Frame traps for days to go along with that awesome throw and that annoying ass ultra 2 . Ugh.
Blanka because for some reason, I always get on tilt when he’s low on health.
Ken because whenever I bait SRKs, they don’t bite but whenever I drop combos online, they always SRK.
Grapplers, I play Yun and I don’t care about points, but I absolutely cannot play a zoning game, it’s not fun so I just rush in. Who cares though, I’m just playing for fun, I don’t plan on going to tournaments anyway
I cant believe none of you have said guy! Only match up in the game that truly rustles my jimmies. Also whenever i fight a good hakan i get kind of ticked but thats only because play hakan as well and am jealous of their skill.
I should play guy if i ever go back to 2012

I hate guy too but he’s so free on wake up it’s really not that bad
I dont really hate him. He is just a match up i never bothered to learn. I dont actually hate ny fighting game game characters because i usually just switch over to play them myself and learn their ins and outs. Its the same reason i never get too butthurt when they release changelists. I have no character loyalty and i am proud of it.
I feel like every time I fight Hakan that almost everything I get hit by is due to being unfamiliar with the matchup. I let him get away with far more shenanigans than I should because I’m not sure what to look for.
I play as Guile almost exclusively and I dislike playing:
Chun Li: I don’t know why I just feel like this match is not enjoyable.
Cammy: she has so much damage
Zangief: once he gets close its over
As an interesting side note I love playing Dhalsim despite the match being so lame. I think it’s the funnest matchup in the game.

Ibuki and most recently Seth.
I swear, it’s impossible to avoid Seth’s command grab after he does that crossup foot dive (not too sure on its name). Maybe it was just the slightest bit of lag in the match where that happened to me… 
Ibuki’s a knife throwing neck snapping biatch on the other hand. Tons of hitstun on knives and I just can’t avoid neck breaker unless I’m actually out of range.
On the topic of Seth, almost all shotos don’t really fare well with me as Cody.
The Seth matchup from a Balrog player’s perspective:
“What random bullshit can I do in order to get out of his sonic boom spam and into his tanden engine range, avoid that gauntlet by some miracle, and then, on the hope and prayer that he forgets he can just rush me down with his command grab, throw out a special for the privilege of eating a focus attack.”
As a T. Hawk player for 2 years, I’d have to say Blanka gets on my nerves immensely. It’s almost to the point I want to rage quit as soon as I see a Blanka pop up, but I try to learn something new in the match up, so I fight anyway. I’ve tried teching his slides and just turtling with footsies and I still lose. His Blanka Balls are so fast and random, I can’t even U2 that mess.
I recently played in a tournament and my first match was against a Blanka player. I thought the guy doing the brackets was trolling me lmao.

As gen: Honda, Guile and dee jay a bit.
As blanka: blanka. worst mirror match in the game. i would rather play against cammy with blanka than this.

Dhalsim is another “oh shit” character for me
Blanka, Bison and Honda. 
Guile - Everything he has is totally safe and I can punish nothing except the odd flash kick. All Guiles open the match with a light sonicboom then anti-air when you jump. Then they proceed to walk backwards.
Dhalsim - Another walk backwards player, only this time every goddam button he has keeps you out. If i’m full screen from a Dhalsim player it’s like they win instantly. No matter what move they do, i’ll get hit. Can’t jump, can’t dash, can’t use any special moves, can barely focus.
Granted, I’ll get angry if I don’t fall asleep in those matchup first. Walking backwards and hitting buttons is the worst playstyle in any game ever. It’s like that guy in the racing game who would rather ram you off the track and make you miserable then the guy who’s giving you a good race.
