Actually, I can attest to that. My boss pretty much told me at my first job interview “look, you got no experience at all and everyone else is more qualified, but hiring minorities is a good look so you will get the job. just don’t be a lazy fuck okay?”
Right now, there are literally no white people in the store lol. Arabs, niggas, indians and mexicans basically make up the workforce of the store I work in.

I was actually posting that in reference to the tech organizations in NY, but yea, it probably happens in other areas as well. “Don’t hire whites, we need to show leadership in diversity.” The hell? Some really qualified white people went into the interview thinking they had a chance but organizations not hiring white people and they only got the interview to make it look like equal opportunity employment. A black person walks in: “He doesn’t know anything but we need more black people, lets hire him and then you have to train him.”
That is NY though, I heard places in Texas still have it bad and they don’t know the civil war ever happened.
