with everyone’s avatar’s in this thread, it gets continuously harder to read it at work.
Wasn’t too sure about Poison for the first few matches I played with her. I kept at it though and she feels really natural now. I haven’t really dove too deep into her, mainly just using cr.mk xx Whip of love for hitconfirms and footsies, then just cr.jab pressure when I want to rush down. It feels kind of hard to open up turtles with her though.
well with dat craptastic overhead it is a problem when you have no meter(which is why shes in reserve on my team) but there are alternate solutions im working on, like seeing if she can get away with instant overhead jump :hp: or something, btw using that move as a crossup is dirty and you gotta really hate the person your playing to use it o_O hahaha.
but yeah i’ve gotta work pretty hard because i feel like if i can’t do these links then ima have a problem later…

It is a two frame link.
You can always use dash cancelled pokes for a really dirty grab. Poison is probably one of the few characters in this game that has a legit throwing game, specially considering we have one of the best grabs in the game - not range wise, but damage and positioning wise.
Coming from SF4, 2f links are basically “all the time in the world”. You don’t even need to plink them. That’s my opinion, of course.
Besides, WoL is really, really safe. You miss the link and whatever, you’re safe due to the pushback.
I don’t think not being able to do that link is really that big of a deal. Keep in mind that that link, when combined with ending in a special only does 1 more damage if you end with HK KbG, and only 9 more if you go into WoL. Sure it’s easier to hit confirmand a jab up probably better than her cr.mk up close but still…
Edit: Though after personally trying it out in training mode, this is a lot easier than I thought it was.

i keep getting a chain or gets blocked every time i go for the link…its either im too fast or too slow…and its rather annoying to say the least but im still practicing it, i get it every 10-15 tries…uhhg.
im adding stuff to the gem thread atm so its praticing it is alot slower then normal…

wow just wow…was in a lobby when the host messaged me and said No OP Poison…i asked him why? and he said because tournament’s are gonna ban her so i couldn’t use poison in his lobby…wow just wow i can’t believe how stupid some people are on these games
