Whip it, whip it good - The Poison GD Thread

Unfortunately this is too difficult of a task for me. Too many problems, mostly video quality. The only thing I could find was that her sweep seems to hit on frame 5 which would be ridiculously fast for a sweep so I’m pretty sure that’s wrong.

That’s unfortunate, however I have some decent news…I have a list of all her normal’s with some descriptions.

-Standing:
(close)LP: slap with her free hand(doesn’t have much reach).
(far)LP: quick horizontal swing with whip)
(close)MP: two hit normal, looks similar to Chun Li’s close MP.
(far)MP: standing upward swing with whip(decent range).
(close)HP: backhand slap.
(far)HP: backswing with whip(good range, punishable).
(close)LK: low hitting ankle kick(looks like Elisabeth’s St.B from KOFXIII).
(far)LK: low hitting shin kick(looks like Morrigan’s St.L from MVC3).
(close)MK: knee to the gut.
(far)MK: far reaching toe kick(good range)
(close)HK: rising high kick(looks like Ibuki’s, good anti-air)
(far)HK: spinning roundhouse(anti-air, punishable)

-Crouching:
LP: light palm thrust
MP: downward swing with whip
HP: crescent arc swing with whip(good anti-air)
LK: toe kick(good combo starter)
MK: extending ankle kick(decent range)
HK: spinning double leg sweep(good range, punishable)

i’ll add the jump normals later…im lazy atm.

You know what we should do. Is create an endless room when SFxTK comes out and have everyone who wants to try out poison experiment with each other in the briefing room and once its their turn they can show what they learned.

sure that sound pretty fun actually~

I really want to know what else was added to the game. I hope the Tourney mode from SF4 Vanilla and its other things were added.

tournament mode will be a post launch add on like with Vanilla~
but yeah im not too clear on what else was added to the game since what they said from the unity stream

There’s Endless Battle, The Briefing room, a better replay thingy, ranked of course…I assume there’s gonna be a seperate thingy for scramble and 2vs2 modes as well. As far as offline there’s mission mode, arcade, tutorial, trial etc. etc. Plenty of stuff to have fun with.

Anyway, I’d be more than happy to be part of an Endless Poison battle. I remember doing that with Juri for SSF4, it was really fun.

So day 1 endless battle? Im down with that, I just hope you guys are on PSN. Until then, im going back to KOFXIII and FFXIII-2

Yall should hit up the training room for at least a week. I know I’m gonna do that

I’ll usually alternate between online matches and training mode. I find that training is better for experimenting and combo practice, and online is best for real world tactics…

…which is why this sounds like a damn good idea. I’m guessing would we have one person start a room on each system?

I’d be totally up for a Day 1 Poison Party, myself, although I’m not the best player in general. Most likely going Vega/Poison.

i guess we should pick now who should host the rooms for the respectful consoles?
im still undecided on my teams, i’ll figure that out post launch.

Assuming that both A) The endless rooms will be active as long as at least one person is in there, and B) I’m able to attend a midnight release, I might be able to start the room for the Xbox side around 1am EST. However, a lot can change since we still have almost a month until release, so I’ll confirm if I’ll be able to do that as we get closer.

As for Day 1 teams…my Poison / Bob duo seemed to serve me well at NYCC, so I’ll probably be going with that.

well since mass effect 3 is coming out the same day i’ll check my local gamestop if they are having a midnight release~
but i doubt i’ll be online that quickly…i want to play other game modes and feel settled in before i jump online, i did that with marvel only because i knew how to play that night…

but yeah about a month wait isnt too bad…i got FFXIII-2 to hold me over~ hahaha but im going to burn through the trials with alot of different characters to see potential teams.
I could also fiddle around with gem setting as opposed to using pre-set ones like at the fightclub -_-'
seems like so much to do, also the strategy guide seems like it’ll be worth it(if its the same caliber as the MVC3 one) because knowing frame data never hurt~

You will see me rocking Jack-X all day long

Oh yeah…that old chestnut. I’ll probably be picking that up the same night also, but I probably won’t come anywhere close to finishing half of it until August.

Forget the Reapers. I have to practice for EVO so I get the chance to lose to a famous person.

If we create a training group we could prevent you from losing to a famous person.

It’s official Poison and Dudley going to be my SFxT team
Not Steve and Dudley

POISON

Damn I’m fiending harder for this game than I thought. Just had a dream that I was playing an earlier build. I guess on the bright side the dream did give me a few ideas for some Poison combos so it’s all good.

Most people are hyped about the game~ their going to have a stream today too so thats something to look forward to.
