I’m glad my hunch was right. She’s really a pokey character, which is more than fine in my book.
Safeness, good range and solid projectiles? I’m sold. COME TO ME, POISON.
Poison’s Team Super @2:40
Well from the videos I’ve noticed a few things.
1.Her backflip can be cancelled into from a normal, might be able to use that to bait something out.
2.Her backflip has a decent amount of invincibility
3.Her EX DP has a decent amount of invincibility
All positive things.
The only reason for me to buy this game.
Seems like her backdash is like Abel’s roll. Which is good since I’m and abel player and she seems rushdown with a projectile. : D
I think Poison is going to be solid with the right partner. Does she actually work with Hugo, this is my question.
Her backdash is gdlk!
Is it better than Chun’s and Rose’s?
I don’t think any backdash could be better than Rose’s.
Have you guys seen Julia’s backdash? It’s like an instant teleport.
Got some very positive feedback about Poison from people who attended fight club last night. Which made me very excited about Poison, hope she is good in final version and not just another useless character
It looks a lot like Rose’s. Hopefully it’s as good as.
Is it just me, or does Poison’s fireball look like it works well as an anti-air if you let it go at the right time?
Might be same level as them but I don’t think it’s better. Still pretty fast tho!
Since each character can charge a move, the chargeable moves will work as good anti-air options. And chargeable fireballs will be especially effective, since one of the natural reflexes is to jump over the fireball to punish, but now we can delay it a little and bam anti-air fireball. Of course in time people will develop ways around that, like dash in punishes, or invincible attacks etc.
Her Super Art is a great AA, it seems. I’m not sure about her charged fireball, although the :lp: version might be a real pain to deal with if you’re being zoned by fireballs. Jump forward expecting a common fireball, recieve the still version and get hit.
Depends on if your opponent jumps in on reaction to the movement of your character or to the fireball itself being on screen.
Who are these people who are getting to play these games!?
Agh, it frustrates me. Why don’t some real fans get their hands on it?
80% of the time someone plays Poison they lose and the only special move they figure out how to use is the fireball. Occasionally they figure out her AA and sometimes they figure out her crescent kick, but they NEVER do the follow up throw from it. And out of all the videos I’ve seen I haven’t seen a single person use her rekkas.
