was planning on using poison alongside hugo and wondered if that was actually a good team or not
hugo is good, just atm it seems characters like King,Marduk, Raven or even Cammy seem like great matches for her as well~ actually i made a Poison thread on eventhubs because they had the space >_> and consolidated all the info i have on her in one place.
Don’t know about Hugo, but if he can do a lot of damage on airborne opponents once she starts a combo then he should be a good partner since I feel that Poison will be a great battery, playing footsies and zoning while you safely build meter, so I guess characters that can really take advantage of that extra meter once she starts a combo like Kazuya, Steve or Lili should work pretty well with her.

more less but, the key to that is because shes can multiple things, like being a substitute zoner, or a battery, ect. Poison however needs at least a bar of meter as well to be effect, also the meter is necessary to tag out. also you gem load out may dictate how you use her in the end anyways.

Well, it’s nice that most of the characters I want to play at least seem to be compatible with Poison. Now I just hope Kuma or Marduk end up being better than they seem…
Speaking of which, in the rant thread, I mentioned using the team of Poison and Kuma and making it work. Well, it turns out I’m not the only one with that wacky idea. Some guy named lastscionz made this rad little sketch of my trolling dream team at last years PAX event:

as you seen i put a fair amount in Poison(hopefully Jamp will update the first page with the content.) and it was a group effort, anyways i wanted to do this with more characters, if anyone is interested in helping me just PM.
also like always if i find anything new i’ll post it up~ btw that TE V.S. stick is awesome~ defiantly putting some Poison artwork on it tho~

yeah simple stuff builds 50% meter…so taking into consideration what longer combos could build, let along C.Gauge Gems that boost meter gain, it seems practical to use alot of what we though as useless sub-systems…
Poison has to take what she can get, so being able to crosscounter out of situations may prove useful later down the line.

I don’t there will be any bad character at all if meter building stays the same. Ex moves are awesome in this game, especially ex moves that let you combo after. You don’t have to be conservative with meter in this game
