I hope that’s just marvel speak, cause otherwise you’re wrong.
That reminds me a bit of VF4 Akira and Kage. You have to get the hang of their “different” styles of fighting and their harder inputs/combos (combo into knee and the tft combos), but once you do, you can do quite some stuff. This doesn’t mean that you will see pure Akiras and Kages win. You will see tons of Akiras and Kages, but only a few go up on top. That’s the good thing about VF. There’s always different characters dominating.
Back to topic. Chun and Cable are almost like equals in that they have supers that are plain broken (AHVB moreso because even though Chun’s super is stupid, it can be parried), are insanely safe/turtle a lot, and are easy to pick up and play. SBN in T5.0 are also easy to pick up because of their abusable moves and stupid damage capabilities (I got hit by df+2 or b+1! There goes 60% of my life). Also, I would like to point out that DOAU’s Ayane and Ein are just stupid. Ein is easy as hell and he gives you good results, and Ayane has a b+p that makes Bryan’s b+1 look like child’s play. Tengu is obviously broken, but very few people use him, so there.
In short, Chun, Cable, Ayane, Ein, T4 Jin, SBN, and X are just stupid in their respective games, and I will guarantee you that they will piss you off.
For me, it’s Cable, and Chun Li, with a few other’s behind them.
Cable’s easy to pick up, and if anyone who’s had MvC2 experience would know this to be true. Jump back FP, throw out grenade, call out assist, AHVB when they mess up…that’s pratically Cable’s game. For Chun Li, FP, <+FP, c.mk, SAII…again, pratically the general basics to win with Chun Li in SFIII 3rd Strike.
SBN for 5.0 are pretty lame as well. Steve’s 8-frame BS, Flickers, CH’s, wall game, too damn safe bs. Nina’s whoring of dive cannon, df+1,2, u/f+1. Bryan’s b+1, ch’s, stun hits, and ridiculous wall game. T4 Jin was also retarded, 2,1’s, 1,2’s, JFLS, Parry, Wall Push…I remember back in the days…the dreaded wall push into 2,1 BS…damn…that was stupid… .
These characters are very easy to win with, and they all share similar qualities…abusable attacks, super safe, very little effort to win…yep, they are as close to brain dead as can be.
Man, don’t even bother arguing with these scrubs. You enter the CTF Weeklys right? Thats more competition than these losers have gotten all their lives. Their play against their mom/dog/sister proves it! They are obviously more qualified to comment on game analysis than people who actually know how to play a game and win at it. Obviously, top players must suck at low level play, and nothing anyone decent does can actually work on different levels, right? And of course, only the scrubs can tell you who is hard and who is easy to use, because, they haven’t actually learned how to use anyone correctly! Yep, makes perfect sense to me!
What a stupid thread. Heres another scrubby easy character thats not in your gayass poll…where is Blanka? How the hell do you not have him there?
Serpent…Im in Nor Cal right now you ever get up here?
I would love to money match in marvel seeing how I play my mom sister and dog. Let me know ok guy.
I don’t play Marvel. You want a money match, you come down here and play CvS2, KOF, 3s or A3.
Not that money matches prove anything, I just want your money.
You don’t play Marvel…that explains alot.
Whats that got to do with anything, Buk doesnt play marvel neither does Insanlee or Jop or Tommy or Marneto etc etc etc. That was a stupid comment with no real ponit or meaning to it.
Go read the conversation concerning Magneto, then read his comment.
And Bronson can still get down in Marvel if needs too.
Whoever did not vote for Cvs2 Cammy do not know what they are talking about.
… heh… he said… “joe sixpack” … heh
bronson is ok in marvel, its fun playing him tho…
As far as I know, Robo Ky is still a Rank B character (with Millia, Dizzy and Axl). Only chars that surpass his Rank lv. are Jam, Slayer and Zato.
It must be Cable. After being taught how to play the game for only 10 minutes (first time ever playing MvC2), I was scrubbing people to death with AHVB. Back then I though AHVB was freaking hilarious since it allowed me to beat people who had been playing the game for so long. Hell, I taught a friend who had no skill in fighting games whatsover how to AHVB, and he started to randomly win against scrubs.
I mean, c’mon. Cable is why newbies/crappy people love MvC2 so much. Your ass can be handed to you the entire match and then WHOOPS, AHVB * 3, GUARDBREAK LOL, and 1.5 of your opponent’s characters are dead. Cable can compensate for lack of skill much more than Sagat in CvS2 or Chun in 3S, even though I think Chun is pretty close too.
Of course at high levels you have to learn the nuances as it becomes more of the player than the character. No one is arguing against that. But for just starting out, Cable is just plain stupid.
cvs2 sagat is not nearly as braindead as people think. the game has evolved a lot from “press crouching fierce!” in the early stages of the game. a competent C-sagat is extremely hard to play effectively because you have to have a strong footsie/poking game and good execution to deal damage.
my vote goes to cable.
Cable.
I don’t see how 3s Chun requires the least skill to win with…I mean, sure, she hasn’t got many moves and the end result is almost always the same (:D), but you have to actually know how to use her to make her really effective.
Mashing c.mk and fierce is alright if you play shitheads, however.
Quotable and rep-worthy.
I don’t know. I still think they take some skill to play, and I can get around most of those.
I also think 3s Chun-li is a little overrated, but I haven’t really played as good of Chun-lis as some of you might have played.
Actually, now that I think about it, CvS2 Cammy.
Who voted Eddie >:[
Ok first off magneto is FUCKING srcub friendly now and days anyone can win with his RANDOM ASS.
People listen to remix1213 he plays with me/justin wong/yipes/X/smoothviper/josh wigfall all the time most of the stuff hes saying is true.
