Which is the best battery character in mvc3?

phoenix

tron is not a good battery, I almost always need 2 meters for her King Servebot into Lunch Rush supers to do any significant dmg. That said, Bonne Strike/Relaunch during combos is basically how I get my meter with Tron. But since I have her on point I usually want to do as much dmg as possible so my other character can come in and go for the win.

Oh I see how Tron player will burn up 3 bars in a single combo with the help of assist.
But I thaught I would give her a go with Skrull/Storm/tron for the assist, and When she was left standing alone I couldnt get into my Hypers and I was consistently building 5 bars.

She just lays down so many hits once she connects its like 2 bars per combo.
But Im sure if she were on point this wouldnt be the greatest consolation.

[LIST=1]
[]Pick Thor and Tron.
[
]Run around with Thor mashing Tron assist.
[]Get 5 meters just in the process of losing 2,400,000 health.
[
]Get it done with Dark Phoenix.
[*]Win prizes, anger stream monsters.

Zero/Mag/Wolv

Even though it’s important how much meter is built in a combo (as well as damage), you also have to take into consideration how easy it is to get that first hit. Also, the ability to build meter through zoning.

I’d say Taskmaster and Magneto have got to be really good meter builders. Not only are their combos high yield, but they can spam arrows/disrupter and build off blocked projectiles.

who do you guys this are the best Anchor personally i think Akuma and Doom are by far the best you get to abuse there great assist and they both have solid mixup mobility and overall damage/options even if you dont have level 3 xfactor

Big health characters get so cheap on a Phoenix team. LOL.

It’s true. I’ll pick Trish and a “Big Health” character. You play basic runaway with an assist coming in. Then after they get passed the annoying Trish traps, runaway, random dive kick into slide rush-down they have to face a beefy character. It’s funny and can actually create decent synergy.

As far as generally good batteries I’d say:

Taskmaster
Wesker
Magneto
Chris
Wolverine <-- This is more of a play style change. He hits hard a lot like Wesker. So just pull your hypers. This is less natural as opposed to the other choices.
Dante <-- Pays for himself and then some most of the time. His damage can be sub-par if you pull the hypers but if you master his execution you can incorporate hypers + gain.
Tron --> Surprisingly awkward but effective! Multi-hitting normals + long combos with the right assist. To bad you’re normally going to a touch of death with King Servbot and Lunch Time

I like em. They get opened up nicely; lots of chances to snap that Phoenix in.

Doom as the best anchor in the game. Hah!

Might have well just posted “I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT, DISREGARD MY POSTS”

From what I can see for batteries in this game right now
#1 Magneto (uhhhhh yeah not much else to say here, scariest character in the game right now any mistake against a compitent magneto is death)
#2 Dante (Like zero, good luck challenging this character on the ground at mid-screen… BnBs building 2 bars and eating clock up is nice too)
#3 Taskmaster (The great punisher of the game, One mistake is an EASY 50% to death and it pays for itself when he does it too)
#4 Doctor Doom (Best meter builder per hit in the game, BuKloops go for 60-70% depending on vairation and build 2 bars, needs an assist to work well though)
#5 Wesker (meter off of mixups and having high health is always a good thing too, but for raw meter build there are better characters in this game)
#6 She-Hulk (Same as Wesker TBH, meter off of mixups and having high health)
