Which DLC character will YOU vote for?

<div class=“QuoteText”>Clearing up Umbrella:<br><br>I don’t remember the character he referenced (if he referenced anyone) but the the umbrella she carries (Hungern) would have a special attack (Biting/Eating) the opponent) that gets stronger the longer you don’t use it (it gets hungrier lol) so the player would have to decide between ending combos for positioning/oki and ending combos for big damage (by using this special move).<br><br>Again, this is just an idea they’re playing with, it’s not set in stone.<br></div>

<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>I interpreted the Umbrella/Hungren play style more like A.B.A from Guilty Gear with an ultra meter. If you’re smart and you use it right, it can push you ahead even further when you’re winning. If you’re not winning, it builds up power because you’re not on offense and enables you to  do unpredictable stuff that can completely turn the match around if it hits. If it misses, and it usually will, everyone will laugh and point because you’re crutching on a scrubby reversal and just lost your character because of the punish.</span></font>

Wait his violin is a “remote parasite”? I thought Parasites couldn’t be removed w/o killing the host, how exactly does having a “remote” one work? I’m tempted to vote for him just to have that question answered alone but so far my vote’s still going to Leduc.<br>

We still have a few Salty Cupcakes before the drive ends, i’m sure there will be plenty of time to get character specific questions answered :stuck_out_tongue:

<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Maybe symbiotie is a better term?</span></font>

<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>I posed this question on the Skullhearts forum but would like to see other input on this.</span></font><div style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;”><br></div><div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>What character play styles are you guys interested in seeing in the game? Personally, I would like it if this game had the capability of creating a trap-based team that could work like MvC2 StriDoom, Team Duc, or Blackheart teams or MorriDoom from MvC3 (though not to the same extent as that team). So with that in mind I would like to have two play styles implemented into the game that would work towards that goal.</span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”><br></span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>The first play style I would like to see is something revolving around chip damage but not about zoning. Something along the lines of Amane in BB:CP but done better. I could see Venus Lovelace or Ileum fitting this role. Though I don’t really like Ileum’s design so more hope on Lovelace being like this. lol</span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”><br></span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>The second play style I would like to see is something revolving around placing traps but not primarily as a zoning tool but more along the lines of setting up Oki. I’m thinking along the lines of Vampire Savior Hsien-Ko where she’s throwing screen control hit boxes to land a hit for a knockdown so she can set up trap based oki games. I’m thinking Black Dhalia, Beatrix, possibly Beowulf, or Taelisin, to a lesser extent, could fit this role.</span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”><br></span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>These are some questions I’d probably ask Mike/Alex on the Salty Cupcakes stream if I had the opportunity and they would be willing to answer to some degree.</span></font></div></div>

I think game needs to have another projectile character.  Right now there is one runaway character (peacock) and one characters who can play space control but is equally/more gifted up close (Parasoul).  There should be, at least, another keepaway character I think.<div><br></div><div>I agree that trap oriented characters would be cool too.<br><div><br></div><div>I play a very aggressive filia team myself, but I think there needs to be variety as the roster expands.</div><div><br></div><div>Also who is Beatrix?</div><div><br></div></div>

Hubrecht’s ahoge is pink and the ribbon is red. HE REALLY IS MALE MUSCULAR HEART AINO!

This is probably the most least inspired design but I love it.

I think Skullgirls needs a divekick Kappa
Right now I’d like to see Feng or Annie get into the game.

Beatrix is part of Cerebella’s Circus Troupe. Her design is that of a knife thrower, with a lot of knives embedded in her suit.

i’m kinda surprised he doesn’t look like Mr. Heart from Fist of the North Star.

i also had a weird thought that Robo-Fortune should be in the game as more than just a voice set. Like a full color swap like GGX Robo-Ky. 100% recycled sprites and totally changed move properties. That won’t happen, but it made me smile thinking about if it did happen.

Every fighting game has at least one palette swap after all.

You think if you have a tapeworm/flukeworm/ringworms, or hell even lice, then you can’t remove them without dying? You’re joking…? You lack biology!

Probably because his remote-thing benefits him rather than causing him net harm, yes. Not for whatever misunderstanding of the word parasite LordTerminal had.

I’m not sure if you’re trolling or not, but Alex said that in the skullgirls universe removing a parasite (like Samson), would kill the host. Remote parasite require a body part to function. The Bard gave up his arms; they were replaced by Muses’s arms. Annie gave up an eye; we have no idea if Sangan gave her anything besides his cooperation. Taliesin would probably bleed to death if he lost Muse’s arms, but I’m not sure about Annie. Sangan could have given her a “eye” of sorts that in a normal case would kill her if removed, but Annie is relatively immortal (eternal youth) so who knows…

If we fund Big Band, then all should become clear…er.

…why can’t I delete this.

Does anyone know where I can find artwork of beowulf because I can’t seem to find anything on him besides that silhouette.

LETS GO STANLEY!

He has Mr. Heart’s suspenders.

lmao heart aino? Too good

So, this Hubrecht guy looks like a grappler.

Screw that, he should just punch things very hard.
