The advantage all of the lower health characters have over Wesker is that they’re harder to hit than Wesker and any DHC glitch based team or anyone willing to burn XF can kill Wesker easy in one combo. You can’t kill what you can’t touch and you can’t touch these mother fuckers with invincible normals, small ass hit boxes and projectiles/assists that cover their whiffs. LOL. Especially when they can TOD you without DHC glitch.
I’ll take invincible normals + Tron assist over Wesker any day. Not that Wesker isn’t good but this game is mainly about how many hit boxes you can put on the screen to set up damage than how much health you have.
Off a c.L…not so much. When that shit hits me from the air from 3/4’s of the screen and he still has enough time to dash in and land a 700k combo and then DHC’s into someone else to make it 900k…yes. His shield slash is basically a projectile that does 700+k damage LOL.
Akuma and Wesker… Then the guy with the claws you said not to mention. Honestly there have been matches where I would have paid good money to go to a Tatsu spammers house and just punch them square in the face. That assist is ridiculously good. There have been matches where I casually dispatch every character then one of these two is last… Level 3 xfactor and either akuma chips me to death or one touch kills whoever he touches or Dark Phoenix Force T Virus God Strain Mega Boss Zombie King wesker kills everything in his path.
WESKER! The most annoying character. As if he didn’t need all the health he had, Give him a gun that (with pretty much most assists in the game) and he has these ultra never ending combos. He can also be used in DHC trick, and in level three xfc? he does god like damage. ><
Oh and level 3 X factor Dormmamu. When he just sends out a couple balls and uses the pillars to instantly trap you and chip you to death.
It’s hard to make an error with Ammy though because of how many ridiculous hit box tools she has. Plus she’s one of the characters that really doesn’t have to worry about much anything Wesker is doing. Standing gun goes over her even if she’s standing so you’re playing a character that doesn’t even have to worry about it, she can air throw his H teleports easily, he has to be loaded with some good assists to even remotely scare her and she can always blow those away with her super or sword/bead stances.
The reason why Ammy and Zero have glass jaws is because when you set them up with the right assists you are not touching them without practically getting lucky. Ammy is one of the most self reliant characters in the game any ways so if she has even one assist she’s a hell of a problem and can still slow down the other team’s offense anytime she wants with her slow super.
AMEN! This guy online just spammed gun and teleport the whole match but luckily ended up beating him. He sends me a message telling me that I have no skill and that it takes real skill to play a character like Wesker. Such an annoying character!
I wish I could air throw his teleports but how do you know where is going to teleport to? I have the most trouble with Wesker. Most Weskers will jump and shoot down at the dog then teleport somewhere
An extremely patient Tron with a projectile assist can have a party with a mid tier Wesker player. True godlike Weskers are a different story but there’s something about a good Tron that makes it a good look.
I am only sometimes patient so this only sometimes works for me, but when it works, it’s hilarious to watch.
Both of his teleports that move forward always go in the same place. Like if he’s on the ground and teleports at you it always goes the same distance forward. It’s not like Wolverine or Phoenix where they can be in position to mix you up wherever they are on the screen. When Wesker teleports forward on the ground or forward above your head it always drops in a set distance. He can’t just teleport in the middle of the screen and sometimes be in front of you, sometimes be behind you and sometimes be on top of you like Phoenix or Dormammu. There’s a set position that Wesker has to be on the screen when he does a L or H teleport or he’ll be in a predictable spot to be punished.
Like to relate if he does a forward teleport let’s say for instance he moves 50 feet forward with a teleport. No matter which forward teleport he does (the one that runs along the ground or the ones that appears above your head) he’s always going 50 feet forward. Which means if he were to teleport when he’s right next to you he would go 50 feet behind you. Which is why nobody ever teleports when they’re near you unless they called an assist first to start a mix up. His teleport also has like 20 frames of recovery so as soon as you see him dissapear you can mash on normals to blow up his ground teleport or air throw the overhead one. The only thing you have to worry about is making sure he didn’t call a projectile assist first. Which Ammy can always blow up with bead/sword stance or either of her supers. Bead stance with cold shots really shuts down teleport game especially with slow on top.
If the Wesker player is spamming air gun that’s really not much to worry about for Ammy because it’s hard for him to convert air gun into combos any way. Plus you’re so small that it’s hard for him to reliably land even chip damage off the gun. Just turn on slow mo to slow him down then go after him with sword stance. If you don’t wanna burn meter on slow or the other super just turn on beads and smack him out of the air and force him down to a ground fight. Beads + cold shots will blow up any assists he calls on the ground also that aren’t Tron or Haggar.
