On Topic: Yes, Trish is annoying in the same way Arthur is. If you’re playing a team who can’t do anything against Arthur, you’re going to have an even worse time against Trish.
I hate Wolverine atm.
I’m not going to rant and be like “omg so broken” because I don’t think that’s the case. He’s just the only character I feel I consistently lose to atm.
I really hate how Rock Paper Scissors this game is. Wolverine with the right assist can make any grounded opponent hesitate, but when you put him against someone who can sit in air for 3 years, all of a sudden he’s having to swap out an assist and sacrifice pressure strings (Lolno, Jam Session sits out for a million years) just to cover that weakness. I mean, it’s not like Wolverine really needs any character to hold his hand. It’s more of a… Can your team get into the air and stay there? Can your team build meter while running away and use it to punish Wolverine? Can your team handle heavy block strings if he gets in? Can they manage with just two if he happens to kill one off? Now can your team handle other situations? Can they adapt to different compositions? Are there any glaring weaknesses on your team that could be exploited?
So many variables, y’know? If this were an RPG I’d say that’s fine… But it’s not. It’s a Fighting Game. The team you choose to play shouldn’t suddenly determine your crippling defeat.

I can not put my self up against a wesker. I lose everytime.
Amaterasu. I have never seen or fought an Ammy player who did more than HHHHHHHHHHHHHH into the most basic combos. She’s gotta be the most boring character in this game to fight next to Dante.
I can’t stress enough how that happens to me, but that’s because I suck online. I do it too, so I can’t complain, though.
So many things I just cant fight.
- Zero - Little, quick ass motherfucker that can cross up instantly and has sooo much Priority on his normals… Sougenmu + Hadangeki with X-Factor, Let the salt roll in!
- Amaterasu - HHHHHHHH over and over, Okami Shuffle, Ridiculous Air Throw and her Air Dash is fucking stupid, SHE CAN FUCKING BLOCK THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE THING
- Hulk and Sentinel - Hyper Armor (St.H and Cr.M) and dumbass ridiculous BnB’s that do monster damage but its so simple to execute.
- Dormammu - Meatball=X-Factor=Meatball or “CHAOTIC FLAME”, or just spammage of Pillars, Holes and Carpet.
- Akuma - Tatsu into Super. Rinse and Repeat.
- Spiderman - That flying fuck is so hard to hit. He just zips around the screen all day and i cant even get a hit in.
- Chun-Li - Lightening Legs, into Lightening Legs and combos into it again using X-Factor.
- Certain Assist - Hsien-Ko + Golden Armor and Pendulum, Akuma’s Tatsu, Doom’s Missiles, Ammy’s Cold Star, Trish’s Trap and Sentinel Drones.
Lets hope UMvC3 fix these stupid problems but then again UMvC3 is most likely gonna introduce more stupid shit.

Ammy has always been my number 1 hate character just for the reason that CC is stoopid and made her a bad matchup for a lot of my characters not because of her moveset no no…cause of her SIZE??? (Idc if other games do this, its stupid that the matchup gets to your disadvantage cause of…size…not cause of how good the char is lol) Oh and -> HHHHHH being super hard to pushblock and deal with is BS.

BUT, Ive recently experienced…the scrubbyness that is Zero, jeez is it easy to open people up with him, he’s hard to pushblock, crazy priority, crazy long combos, resets, crazy bar builder. Jeez lol.

Probably Tron, only thing most Tron’s do is spam jump C, and thats all it takes really. One move does everything…that alone is stupid. Oh and don’t get me started on that assist that makes people do twice as good then they would normally.

Hulks/Sentinels (Team armor + lag = death) Wolvie/Phoenix/Weskers.
Fucking Trish. She’s the best runaway character in the game, one of the best keepaway characters, a great rushdown character, the only one that can switch between offense and defense faster is Magneto, and as far as I can tell, she is, bar-none, the single best anchor in the game. She doesn’t need any assists, there’s no part of her braindead gameplan that is missing. It mystifies me that she is getting buffs for ultimate. Fuck Wolverine, she’s the best argument as to why dive kicks have no place in this game (or any other, as far as I’m concerned).
I’m sure if I played somebody higher tier, I wouldn’t have as much of a problem with her since I could just teleport behind her all the time, but other than that, I really can’t find an answer to her.
Amaterasu…HOW DO I KILL THIS THING. I never feel like I know how to open this bitch up and whenever I hit her it’s just the player who didn’t press back for a second.
I can feel the immense salt from opposing players when I play Zero and they get a 50/50 mixup into 30 second combo 3x a match.
