I think Dante is going to have to take Taskmaster’s place right now as the character who gets under my skin the most lately. Basically I hate everything about him, but if I had to choose one feature that stands out over everything else right now, it would be his ability to cancel his jumping S into Hammer or Killer Bee (his dive kick, I think that is what it’s called) making it nearly impossible to approach Dante if he is ever in the air, lest you eat a move that allows him to go into a massive combo.
The fact that Dante doesn’t have to “commit” to anything and can cancel everything he does into something that makes whiffs safe makes him an incredibly irritating opponent to face.
Not to mention he can mix that up by making you play guessing games and do that lovely gun twirl in air instead (Which is safe if you’re in block stun) and combo off of that as well. Did I point out that the dive link can cross up?
I can understand how Taskmaster can be a pain in the ass, but I really don’t see how people have a hard time with him unless he gets in. He’s about as predictable as Ryu with his pokes and Spidey Swing doesn’t suddenly warrant him an inside since it can be blocked low from the ground.
The characters I actually hate actually have little to do with game play. I hate Felicia cause she makes too much noise and just looks annoying. I hate Morrigan cause she never shuts up, chun li cause she won’t stop yelling at me. I hate Hsien because I don’t know wtf that thing is supposed to be. I hate spencer because he won’t stop telling me to “get over here” what if I don’t want “to get over here”? I like camping my side of the stage. I hate tron because she orgasms the whole match.
However if I do hate a character due to game play it’s simply because of how the person is using the character. In that case my most hated character from game play is scrubby level 3 akuma players period. No skill, what offends me is when a character can be viable even if a person has no skill. Phoenix isn’t even viable if a person has no skill (if you know what to do when playing phoenix). But Akuma, Akuma anchor level 3s get lucky. You might not even call assist and for some reason assist is out just so akuma can kill you both with a random super. Scrubby Dark Akuma players are lame. I respect the good akuma users though.
Wolverine, Wesker, Zero, Tron, and Haggar. I love not being able to get any combos going because Haggar or Tron decide that they’re going to walk in and smack you so Wesker can get a full combo.
I dislike Wesker,Dante,Wolverine,Zero,Akuma, and Taskmaster. Yes its partly because I suck against them but also because they are in every fucking match! At least one of them with very, very, very few exceptions. That is the major reason I hate them if I just sucked against them it would be fine but no they have to be on almost every team I face. And no you don’t have to tell me “There on every team because there top tier, suck it up.” or some shit, I get that, I accept that, its just that even people who suck with them pick them all the damn time.
This LOL, Akuma can summon your assists in XF3. What annoys me the most about those Shin Akumas are the fucking RANDOM Demon Flips that they keep doing because of the Tatsu mash.

That was a very terrible comparison. If they need to make certain teleports worse they can, but asking them to remove them entirely is just whining and overreacting.
You know what gets under my skin? People who play low tier and constantly complain about how horrible their characters are. I legitimately believe they want everyone nerfed except their characters, and to over-buff the toons they main. Seriously, if you have such problems with the characters, get a new team. I’m tired of relentless, “Hsien Ko, is terrible. OmG, Cashcom is so dumb”. I personally love playing Arthur, and see his obvious faults, yet I don’t flood forums with complaints.
I came into this knowing my post was irrelevant, and if it’s any consolation, my post is directed at one person, yours is directed at hundreds, maybe thousands.
By the way, I browse these forums on a daily basis, and not a single time have I seen anyone say anything over-the-top without being shot down. Extreme buffs? No, you’re going to be called a dumbass. Buffs for low tier in general? Yes, everyone knows they need them. Nerfs for high tier? Some people say yes, some people say no. It’s really a matter of how Capcom goes about it.
