Where Did the 3D Fighters Go?

tobal is a good game?

Yes

Ooh a new Tobal would be great, as long as it felt like the original games.

A new Bushido Blade would be pretty great now too. Seeing as how they could design far more elaborate stages which affect which directions you would strike in, and how you would position yourself.

I’d also like to see another crack at Psychic Force. I was never big into it, but had quite a bit of fun with Psychic Force 2012. The mobility and magic moves would give it the panache most stock 3D fighters don’t have.

I’d love Busidho Blade for Occulus Rift or the like…

I would love a new Bushido Blade but lightweight’s spiritual sequels have all been terrible.

so for Virtua fighter series: hitbox>Korean stick>sanwa stick?

What all did they do after?

I vaguely recall some crap for the Xbox.

They made the Kengo series and Kabuki Warriors. All garbage.

Its really SF4’s fault. They showed that 2.5d gameplay can be amazing when done right, a perfect balance of nostalgia and modern tech. All the other devs saw this and jumped on the bandwagon. Who knows how long this 2.5d renaissance will last.

IT’s all preference.

Also, you JUST was asking about Guilty Gear…
The fuck bro? You’re trying to tackle that AND VF at the same time? It’s like two of the most complex games out. It seems like you’re also asking more questions than just playing the game and figuring it out.

I think more scifi fighting should more in demand, like Virtual On, Technomancer, Star Gladiator, and Anarchy Reigns. I wonder if Gundam Breaker will be released outside of Japan…

Unfortunately, Guilty Gear/Blazblue to me is just an average sci-fi fighter. Arc System seems to always nail it in characters, cinematics, and music, but the gameplay is merely just an aggressive version of Marvel and it’s done not much in a creative way either. It’s the kind of game where I dropped the moment I lost interest in Marvel, because it’s more of a cousin to it. It’s redundancy hasn’t aged well. Honestly, I found Guilty Gear Overture more fun than the original in total, because the gameplay was escapism.

Whats your problem? I am playing gg xrd but i play it until vf6 come out. I want The best for this and tekken 7. And i think the best are hitbox or korean stick. Now i have an hitbox i have to decide if buy a korean stick

You’re asking questions like, "What will I find the most comfortable?"
When the answer to character selection AND joystick selection is - It’s up to you. Play with different things, see what you like. Nobody can decide your character or your controller for you.

Please stop talking. Thanks.

Speaking of Tech Romancer (lol “Technomancer”), I’d love a Cyberbots reboot.

The best part is where he thinks Gundam Breaker is a fighting game when it don’t even have a vs mode.

I mean I’d love a vs mode on it but
A ) There isn’t one
B ) It wouldn’t make it a fighting game

I should stop talking, why? Because you disagree with what I said about your game? That’s really your problem, is it? 12 years of your kind on this site never really change.

I was thinking of Gundam Extreme VS when I saw Gundam Breaker. It was categorize as a fighting game, so I assumed it was. No big deal though.

thats why i said it sucked
also lack of moves and introducing that ex mechanic to compensate
they ruined ivy and yoshimitsu and got rid of setsuka who were all more fun and complex in earlier versions of the game
then making kilik a mimic
lmfao soul calibur 5 plays average
and without the asthetics to back it up it really is just a bore
