Feminist are very selective over what they constitute as worthy pursuits. For example while just as many men are victims of domestic violence, I have yet to see any feminist initiatives aim to increase the number of male only shelters.

Peach is the sole ruling political figure in the mushroom kingdom meaning the Mario games are technically under a matriarchy. In Zelda…well the title character is a female, the gods of that universe are 3 goddesses and Zelda is similar to peach in that she appears to be a very important political member in her kingdom.
Putting this to a real life context, peach and Zelda would be like be president and Mario and link would be like a 1 man secret service…I wonder if Anita considers obama’s body guards as tools of oppression cause they are required to protect him.

I agree on the male domestic violence bit. I can’t speak for the US, but up here there’s only ONE battered men’s shelter in the entire country and it’s funded purely off of donations because the government doesn’t even see a need for one.

Yes you can say the 1% of men were doing well and 99% of men were doing badly and that’s what feminists aimed at, but that’s still not entirely true because they really didn’t suffer under a patriarchy even under the 1%. There have been numerous female rulers, including Queen Elizabeth, Catherine the Great and many others. Those are just the named ones, not even the aristocracy. When minority men were enslaved or worse, feminists insist those minorities were oppressing white women. Even right now in supposedly patriarchal places like South Asia, they have female prime ministers haha.
So I don’t even know why men bother arguing or trying to reason with anybody that identifies as a feminist. You’re either dealing with someone that is blatantly a hypocrite and intellectually dishonest, or someone that is extremely ignorant of world history and refuses to accept reality.
None of it matters anyway. It’s just a complete waste of time to even bother debating feminism or anything else. People always have their minds made up and just dig in trying to play argument games, especially on the internet.
I like to tell people that you can’t beat a stupid person in an argument because stupid people are extremely clever. A stupid person is just someone that doesn’t realize they are ever wrong; a smart person is someone that is very quick to realize he’s wrong. That’s why Socrates is one of the smartest people in history, he realized he didn’t know anything at all and tried to show other people they didn’t know anything either. So they killed him. Any time a stupid person is arguing, all the people that are smarter than them are always going to be wrong. It is impossible for a smarter person to beat a stupid person in an argument.
Since feminists are the dumbest of all, it is thus impossible for them to ever lose an argument. They will never ever understand how, why or when they are wrong in anything. You will just always wind up eventually losing because eventually they’ll find something that you don’t know about and you’ll concede.
That all doesn’t matter…because even the women who did have power only had power in a "male dominated"system and apparently women were treated as badly as black slaves and Jews in nazi Germany. I know all this cause tumblr feminist and women studies told me…women as a group used to get killed and raped every hour on the hour and their blood was used as lube for the men to rape more women.

This notion of equal rights is nonsense. There has never been, nor will there ever be equal rights, expect maybe if a million years from now the two genders evolve into a single, self replicating entity.
In the meantime, we should ensure that buildings are only build to knee height so that disabled / wheelchair bound individuals can realise their career dreams of being a firefighter too.

The only thing that annoys me about the recent hipster feminist trend is that it has begun to spread to parts of the entertainment industry, notably movies. Where its somehow insulting or inappropriate to have ever a “damsel in distress” anymore.
