That looks right…Though we’ll have to confirm when Cammy comes out. I’m not sure if I’d call that the “reading” order. That’s the chronological order but the reading order, to me, would be the order they’re released. Kind of like watching Pulp Fiction or when prequels come out. The intent was for the story to be told out of order, based on when these publications came out. Of course, I don’t think it’s critical in terms of really following this story.
WOW Japan’s getting a Sengoku Basara manga that looks like it takes place in the modern world! I doubt this will ever come to the US but here’s hoping! Recently I imported Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi for the PS4 and I’m having a blast with it!
More like this, though there is for sure overlap with some series (and bonus stories/flashbacks)
Akuma - Street Fighter Origins
Chun-Li - Street Fighter Legends 1-4
Street Fighter 0-14
Street Fighter II 0-6
Sakura - Street Fighter Legends 1-4
Street Fighter II Turbo 0-12
Street Fighter IV 1-4
Ibuki - Street Fighter Legends 1-4
Street Fighter III #00 Remix
Super Street Fighter Vol 1 - New Generation
Super Street Fighter Vol 2 - Hyper Fighting
Street Fighter V - Life & Death(s) of Charlie Nash
Street Fighter Unlimited ongoing
Cammy - Street Fighter Legends 1-4
And this:
Street Fighter Super Combo Special
It doesn’t really fit in to the continuity as it was written for a Japanese project. But nothign too major happens in, I suppose it could fit in our series. But it also jumps all aroudn continue, from before Charlie died all the way to Street Fighter III era.
FCBD is Saturday, May 7th. Still a couple of weeks away.
Unless you want to know when it fits in the timeline. The events take place on May 7th, 2016. Shrug, I dunno.
So far I like the Monster Hunter Orage manga better than the Flash Hunter manga. The lines in Orage are cleaner and the action is easier to read. It might also be because I’m a fan of Fairy Tail and am used to the artist’s work.
Flash Hunter is much closer to the games so there’s that. Definitely sticking with it to see where it goes.
Hmmm anything else for a Capcom fan to check out FOR FREE? Maybe check out what Sonic is up to after Mega Man KICKED HIS ASS TWICE in both crossovers. Or how about that Civil War II Comic, featuring a bunch of guys Capcom BEAT THE GARBAGE OUT OF during those Marvel vs. Capcom games? Or what about that Pokémon comic featuring a bunch of furry animals THAT RYU AND MEGA MAN PUT IN THE HOSPITAL in Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS and Wii U?
…What? That’s exactly how all of those events went down. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Happy Cinco De Mayo to those who celebrate. And Happy Mother’s Day to everyone’s mom and any mothers out there! Be safe!
Not me. 2 years in a row I haven’t gotten the SF FCBD issue. Last year I checked every store I could in New York City. Either no one had it or it ran out before I got there. This Saturday I was sick as a dog so I knew I was only going to visit one store so I could rest up for Mother’s Day. I got about 20 books or so but the SF book wasn’t among them.
Didn’t get the Attack on Titan book or the Pokemon book either. But I got the Marvel, DC and Dark Horse books along with the Sonic one too. Also a bunch of other stuff I haven’t read yet.
I’m in Philly. My shop had a ton. The SFV book is a few isolated stories. One on Rashid that deals with his eye piece and the scientist that created it. Then Nash shows up to steal some other piece of equipment. The Laura story is about her fighting Sean to demonstrate the need to expand on their family’s style. He ends up finding his inspiration watching Ken on tv. Karin’s story involves her fighting Birdie at an airport as they board a plane for, presumably, Gill’s tournament. On the plane we see Chun Li, Alex and Guile seated. That’s it I believe.
