Capcom will release a magazine in Japan called ‘CapBom!’ It will feature a Biohazzard AKA Resident Evil manga with other manga titles to be announced. Hopefully the manga titles will get translated into English at some point.

Oh goodie…more manga…that’s what I wanted…yaaaaaaaaaaa…[/sarcasm]
Yep that gun to your head forcing you to buy a manga that is currently only in Japanese sure is menacing.
If your plan is to rag on stuff until Udon does something please take that elsewhere. Only mod warning.

(psst) do a MML3 manga, just to wrap things up. Pass it on.
Speaking of manga, there’s a double dose next week with Monster Hunter Orage Vol. 2 and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Vol. 2! :woot:
Im not ragging but the fact remains that Udon has been seriously lazy lately. Manga takes how many guys to translate? The arts done and that leaves the rest of the staff with absolutely nothing to do or contribute. They advertised a Akuma graphic novel for the spring of this year and we haven’t seen panel one so you’ll forgive me if Im not overtly anxious for them to bring over mangas when they should be doing real jobs.
As Udon has stressed many times they don’t really make a lot of money with Street Fighter products. They do it almost as a fan service it pays so little. They take on many other jobs pretty much to survive. It’s no secret that the comic book industry is in trouble as a whole.
How much of this works as excuse for a late book, I cannot say. I’m not sure you need me to tell you how things are tough all over but a safe bet is that Udon is engaging in endeavors that will allow them to survive right now.
Look, I get that you’re upset and I’m not trying to be a prick or anything but you’ve said how you felt twice already and Udon doesn’t really pass by here as much as they used to. Are you seriously going to continue posting here about it, until what 2012 when none of us can do anything about it?
You have options. Bug Udon on Twitter. Bug Mattmoylan on Capcom’s site. Email them. There’s what, FIVE people who read this LOL it’s not even the biggest soap box you can stand on.
So until then, all I can do is focus on Capcom related comics and manga that are available. Maybe you don’t care about them, that’s fine. I just point out that there are other related products out there. How anyone spends their money is none of my business.
I still kind of fail to see the relavance of your sarcastic remark. Udon’s not the only one who translates Capcom related manga. In fact the two books that are coming out next week have nothing to do with Udon at all.
If you want to have a last word or to vent your frustrations against Udon one more time even though no one here can do anything about it, feel free. Just please don’t bring it up when I mention a Mega Man comic or something that has nothing to do with Udon is all I ask.

Mega Man #5 comes out next week! And just in case you missed out on the first 4 issues well there’s TPB coming out for them next week too so you can catch up Quick… Man!
Still in the middle of reading vol. 2 of the Phoenix Wright manga. Once again there are more subtle Spider-Man references which I’ll point out later. Phoenix Wright is getting ready for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 word!
Finished the second volume of the Phoenix Wright manga. In the first story Phoenix continues working the Spider Man case. I didn’t notice this in the first volume, but the story features two brothers named ‘Eddie’ and ‘Brock’ Johnson, you know like Eddie Brock AKA Spider-Man villain and MvC2 character Venom! Brock Johnson in this story even puts on a fake Venom outfit!
Monster Hunter Orage vol. 2 was also quite enjoyable and to my surprise in the translation notes, they even explained zenny AKA Capcom money!
“In the world of Monster Hunter, the main currency is known as “zenny.” This is used for money in many video games developed by Capcom, including the Breath of Fire series and the Mega Man series. The word itself is based on zeni, an old colloquial Japanese term for money.”
I guess the above won’t mean too much for fighting game fans, but in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Ultimate All-Stars gamers did have to use zenny to buy things at least.
Looking forward to the Mega Man comic tomorrow!

The new Mega Man comic was really good. Yeah looks like they are covering the left over Mega Man Powered Up stuff before moving on to Mega Man 2.
MM #5
[details=Spoiler]Time Man and Oil Man were given the letters A and B so they don’t upset the numbers of the other robots. Light says they are incomplete robots. Which makes sense since in Mega Man Powered Up if you play through with Proto Man he tells Time Man that he’s incomplete.
Oh and reporter Chun-Li gets another cameo, just one image though!
Dr. Light mentions the ‘X-Factor,’ that if he ever figured out how to do it this would give robots real emotions just like humans. Of course this is a reference to Mega Man X which Light builds later, but me I instantly thought of MvC3 and got mad that there’s still no Mega Man in it! Ah well at least Wily did build Zero, so there’s some connection to the classic series at least…
The issue left off with Oil Man about to face off against Roll word! I wonder if she’ll bust out her Mega Man Powered Up broom? Maybe that giant bucket of water she uses in TvC? Lol can’t wait! [/details]
Lol, loving the Eddie Brock references. I’ll have to check those out when I can.
Mega Man #6 comes out next week!
Oh come on Sano, Oilman’ll kidnap Roll all easy peasy, Roll will eventually develop into a fighting gal as the series progressed.
Nah man Roll’s gonna put on her Arthur costume from Mega Man Powered Up and stomp Oil Man! And this is all going to happen on the G&G based Mega Man Powered Up stage that I created myself and uploaded a few years ago. Oh and while I’m talking about stuff that will never happen Ingrid will show up too! I CAN DREAM CAN’T I? :looney:
ROFL I never thought I’d ever have a Roll vs. Oil Man conversation on this forum. Love the Mega Man comic! :lovin:
Must avoid making a joke about a black man slapping a white woman…
At Capcom’s NY Fright Club event I got a FREE sampler of the Dead Rising Road To Fortune comic from IDW. It has actual cursing in it LOL and is really fun. It even had a surprise ending!

Ha this went just below my radar but the Dead Rising comic from IDW hit stores this week too. I’ll keep an eye out for future issues down the line.

Issue 6 was good IMO [SPOILER=]Oilman’s ‘accent’ is a nice nod to his original colour lol. …and I like how Wily explained to Roll that Oil and Time man were both ‘too powered-up’ XD[/SPOILER]
Yay. Looks like Udon’s been doing some work! They worked on the Special Edition Comic Book for SFxT!!! And updates on Akuma Graphic novel is that it comes out next year! It is definitely not a priority for them I can tell as it’s for the fans and them as fans, but ultimately it’s about surviving when the economy is down! Go Udon!
