Probably doesnt belong here but just a heads up for anyone who is interested, Street Fighter IV & Super Street Fighter IV Official Complete Works announced :woot: Comes out on the 25th of this month. http://www.capcom.co.jp/sf4/book.html
I hope udon wil eventually bring this over over here.
just the cover of that is boner worthy. thing is, it will probably be a lot of money. are we going to get artwork that will make it worth it, even after we already have SF20?
A book around the size of the Rockman Zero Official Complete Works book which covered 4 games will go for two. Hereâs hoping there will be text troves in it.
Since SF20 doesnât cover a whole lot of SF4 relative to everything else it has, most likely it will be. The book however will probably recycle most if not all of SF4âs unlockable art gallery. Hereâs to hoping itâs heavy on the non-existent SSF4 art gallery material along with the Studio Gonzo openings and endings.
^ exactly. the reason i waited to get sf20 was because i had seen most of those pieces already and because it was huge money. i was in the famous kinokuniya store in nyc and the price was still $65
also vasilli i was planning to surprise you with some different takes on goutestu and gouken (fan art.) it was based off all the information you gave me. but my grandma threw away a lot of those pictures⌠! i also found a link to the âshinsueisha remix edition of Ryu Final.â its pretty much the same exact manga that we know, except a small foreward and a few short words from nakahira in the beginning.
If you have any left I can still act surprised.:bgrin:
Any word on SFL Ibuki #3 coming out anytime soon Sano? Need something to look forward to before Mattâs encyclopedia comes out who knows when this month, and The Complete Works which probably wonât be in my hands until July.
SFL Ibuki #3 is supposed to come out sometime this month. Darkstalkers #3 was supposed to come out last month so hopefully we will get both in the next few weeks.
In theory anyway. B&N.com the last time I checked didnât even have a record of its existence. Amazonâs said June 22 since most of the month but apparently they have none in stock (supposedly the book ships between 2 and 5 WEEKS from there), and not a single review for it yet. Iâll be mildly shocked if Borders does in fact have it in tomorrow.
Old recycled page. Their search engine wonât bring it up except via ISBN, and trying to click the search and purchase link within that page only gets you to pointless other lists of books, as if the system doesnât even know where it last came from.
this two sites also have the release date as June the 30th , plus they has been no mention of Udon delaying the book to July. espeically not from Matt Moylan Udonâs Managing Editor.
it was in stock at Amazon but now itâs not , and people have bought the book since thereâs actually a % on how many people bought the book on the page. which is 52% for Amazon Canada, 52% for Amazon UK and 65 for Amazon U.S
apprantly Street Fighter Volume 6: Final Round which came out in may doesnât have any reveiws at Amazon either, or any other online store for that matter.
Hey, if those places actually have it for their posted dates, yay for them. Last day in June to carry it out for those who just say June. âBoughtâ most likely means âorderâ for Amazon; that doesnât guarantee that anyoneâs actually received the book from them.
What I do know is that several people on multiple sites expressed considerable interest in the book since it was announced months ago, and yet no feedback anywhere since then. Thatâs why I posted the question elsewhere: Anyone anywhere bought it from stores yet? And then there was silence.
Iâd appreciate the book being available everywhere it ought to be tomorrow, especially B&N since I happen to have gift cards for there, but the odds are currently against it when the dates jump from the 8th to the 15th to the 22nd to the 29th and now the 30th (a Wednesday hoboy).
Again, 2-3 weeks, 1-4 months, July, 4-8 weeks backorder, still nothing definite about anyone having it in their hands.
On top of all that, Sano wouldâve said something about Final Round being out if it was for May like booksamillion.com claims; I donât believe he has yet, neither for the Encyclopedia nor for Final Round.
I donât think they are out yet anywhere but I only follow comic book store dates and even then we only know with 100% certainty the Thursday prior due to Diamondâs weekly listing.
Barnes, Borders, Amazon and places like that have different dates for everything and they are never that reliable. Sometimes they get books earlier than comic book stores like the last few Udon Art Books and sometimes they donât as was the case with Mega Man Megamix 1.
Wish I did know of a better way to follow their dates because I know a lot of people donât live near comic book stores. Still even if I did I would have to say âAccording to ________â all the time because thereâs a big chance said date would be wrong sadly.
If anyone does happen to see the Encyclopedia in a bookstore this week please let us know.
